Seems like every time I solve one problem another appears. I just graduated to 13 Gallon Reservoirs for my RDWC with lots of air. Now i am trying to figure out what I am doing differently to have caused this.
The good news is My Purple Punch buds are incredible despite this Overall Vein Yellow phenomenon. That said, the research is not there i can get no good answers to this. Lots of people might go the diagnostic deficiency route, I think it must be excess of some sort.
I am compiling a list of things I have done different. My 2-3 week budding plant is doing it too. I including an array of pictures in different progressive stages of development of this. I have been looking at the new growth throughout (tips at top) but never see tell-tale signs of over-fertilization...
However now looking at the pictures I am seeing possibly some classic over fert? However the younger growth has NOT this typical Over Feeding edges! IS it possible this is some other kind of excess -- too many Bennies? Maybe not change my new larger Reservoir often enough. I worried about leeching plastic... I also thought they didn't like the frozen water bottles.
When it started i was experimenting using Store Bought Ice to make ice water cooling top offs! I thought maybe a contaminant in the Ice like Salt? I did run a little hot over 1500 PPM but a lot of that was accumulation I only was topping around 800 but honestly didn't change the reservoir for almost 3-4 weeks maybe. The highest drift I had was around 1800 I think but I would always bring it down with no more than 900 top offs...
Thanks very much for help considering this issue! It is crazy the Literature practically doesn't cover this Veinal Chlorosis! One mention was Contamination from Fungicide Pesticide etc...
