Any Advice if plants are too tall going into flower...

I made the mistake of doing a full eight week veg, and now I'm flipping them over to flower and I can tell they are going to be way too tall for the room that they are in.
Im not flipping the rooms for another week and was thing about trimming down the top branches a little.
I was wondering if that would affect my yield a lot or if I'm better off just tying them all down.
I can't really do a trellis net for everything because the of the layout of the room, it would make it too hard to move around in there.
I plan on putting them all in tomato cages and tying them down to that if needed but hoping to avoid that.

How does a tomato cage solve any of this issue? You lose no height unless they look like pencils. Either supercrop them or top them.

just flip ? like a day or 2 flip or a week or so flip ? … depends how far from flip , I would of of topped before the flip then let heal then flip… also you can tie down depends how flexible the plant is and won’t loose yield… tomato cage can help some …
a good lesson learned for the next grow , have things planned out …. Good luck .

Supercrop or top. If you super crop make sure you squeeze first so the breaks on the inside and it doesn’t snap when you bend it down. If you too give em some recovery time before flip.

Still.. one small study of 10 rats pumped full of a chemical meant to be used in miniscule amounts on plants before flower formation isn't quite enough to persuade me to stop using it.
I could care less as long as you don't give it to other people. Or at least tell them you poisoned the buds first.

Might as well spray Round Up if you ask me,

Everything is poison when used wrong. "we injected the rats with 500ml of H2O, surprisingly they all died"

+1 for supercrop. Just be careful as previous members have said. Use pressure with your fingers to soften the stalk before you bend. Place your thumb over the bend site, and ease it over from the top while holding the bottom section of the plant still.
You may want to give it a little twist to position the lowers on the bent branch to come up. Branches facing down I’d clip.. but that’s all preference. You don’t have to. I just try not to over crowd things. E5BF49DA-4AE9-438D-8315-E34ED04F960B.jpeg

The doses sound insane though
they do this in order to get quicker results. a placebo/harmless substance like e.g. sugarwater would have yielded a negative result. there still needs to be understood how, and if, a lower exposure can be buffered metabolically, or if there is accumulation.
