Can someone please explain to me the difference between photo regs, feminized, and other types of seeds and the effects it has on outdoor growing?

What do you mean exactly? Like what's the difference between fem, photo, and auto's? In ground outdoors or buckets or something?

Photo begining flower is triggered by light cycle getting shorter to the point of 12 hr day 12 of night. Auto flowers based on age not light. Fem are guaranteed female. Reg are not

Photos regular seeds you might get some male plants with the feminized ones you won’t get any male plants some people buy the regular for the males to pollinate other plants and so on and so forth

Thank you all for your responses. I guess autos are bred with a Russian ruderalis that makes them flower with time, not the photo period? And yes, thanks for letting me know photos might contain males. I love this site, everyone is so helpful.

Just some other info. I run mostly regular seeds and hunt for females. Sometimes i buy fem packs.
