Bubble hash question

As mentioned above it is all trial and error and also largely strain dependent. I prefer the taste and effects from full spectrum hash, this is usually between 160-45 anything bigger than 160 is usually plant material and anything under 45 is usually stalks and sometimes dirt, I spend abit more time cleaning the 45-25 with a pressure sprayer cos there’s dirt in it but my last couple runs with this strain hasn’t yielded very much at all in the 45-25 grade.

get a scope and look at ur trichomes, are they big? do they have a long stalk? most find that trichomes with a short stalk don’t wash as well.

also do a test run with a small mason jar full of ice bud and water, shake it around, and look at how many trichomes fall off and sink to the bottom. some strains that look good for washing simply aren’t, usually because the head bleeds oil when in water, some do more than others.

after some experience you’ll be able to judge whether a strain is worth washing or not by doing some of these tests

Just a quick question, the water left at the very end, what strains through the last bag, you can chuck that...or should i use that for the second run?
Cheers!

I try to use fresh cold ro water each wash. Itll cut down on your contamination a bit. It can be hard to do because you're constantly cooling new water but I find it's cleaner that way. Depends how 'dirty' the water looks too. I always put my water in a pail into the deep freeze until it starts to skim over with ice. That's how I know it's cold enough to start.
