America was saved because Donald was too stupid to follow simple instructions. I figured it would be hard for Vlad to deal with Donald even if he owned him and he needed frequent meetings and phone calls to remind him and keep him on track. He was the stupidest (un)secret agent in the world. Vlad might have owned the POTUS, but he was stuck with a moron and all the problems that entails..

Finance chair asks accounting firm why it disavowed Trump Org financial documents
Senate Finance Committee Chairman Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) sent a letter to former President Trump’s longtime accounting firm on Tuesday demanding to know why the company disavowed financial statements prepared for the Trump Organization.

Mazars terminated its relationship with the Trump Organization in February, saying that it could no longer vouch for the business’s financial statements for the past decade following revelations from an ongoing investigation by New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) into the family’s business practices.

Wyden wrote in the letter that Mazars had not provided information as to why the documents should no longer be relied upon, asking the firm if the retractions were the result of errors by Mazars personnel or if the Trump Organization provided misleading or inaccurate information. He asked the company for a response by June 7.

Unless you are true urban, everywhere is MAGA country now; the unhoused are back in town again (I think they're on a circuit) since it started to warm up. They cause problems, theft, sitting no smoking block of town doorway meth midday- they're doing this in the most historical part of town the part that business owners wait for..the tourist, who are driven away by what they see.

he might, but i don't think a republican candidate can win in 24 unless the democrats fuck up bad. the republicans done pissed off too many women, too many lgbtq people, too many gun activist...there are too many people too motivated to vote, that is when republicans lose. Biden isn't a bad guy, but they need someone younger, someone who speaks plainly but compellingly...maybe if Buttigieg got Klobuchar to run as VP with him, no one else really stands out among the democrats to me. they would have to work it hard, but they could do it.

I did not say he will win, but there is a lot of time before the election. But the DOJ seems to have decided not to go after someone who is a political candidate. That would be seen to Trump as a day pass at least until the election is over.

people keep trying to keep hope alive, but merrick has disillusioned me...i've just given up hope for trump facing justice for treason.
i also have my doubts about Georgia doing anything to him. they may nail practically his whole horde, all the fake electors, all the republican fuck faces who engineered and hid the whole thing, but trump himself? he's slimier than ten slugs, and has always managed to avoid any serious consequences for being a fucking lying thief on a grand scale.
