What is a good humidity level for seedlings
I hear what you are saying but my plant has its second set of blades. Should I keep the humidity highSame as for your plants.
Seedlings can suffer from humidity swings.
I will put a plastic bag over my seedlings the first day, until they break the soil, then I cut the corner out of the bag, leave it for another day, then remove it the third day, when leaf development if underway.
The bag is only to keep the top layer of soil from drying out, because I don't want to spray seedlings. My ambient humidity is around 50%.
If allowed to develop leaves in a high humidity environment, they will suffer and leaves will crumble when exposed to dryer air. there has to be a 'hardening off' period for plants kept in high humidity environments like humidity domes. That's why domes have openings you can open and close.
But, as a general rule, seedlings are genetically designed to grow in the exact same environment as plants.
Nope. 50% is a nice safe level.I hear what you are saying but my plant has its second set of blades. Should I keep the humidity high
I only advise 50% because people don't realize the bump that happens when watering.Seedlings 50-80 is fine, shit I stay 70-80 most of veg.
oh yeah I’ve got like 75gallons of soil in my flower tents pots. Shit gets up there fast when I water.I only advise 50% because people don't realize the bump that happens when watering.
Nothing quite so heartbreaking as three inch seedlings falling over, one at a time...That’s not to say you can’t go higher than 80 with seedlings, they’re more prone to damp off that high though
yeah ya learn quick though. Kids these days don’t have the option of practicing on seeds from mexi brick like back in the day.Nothing quite so heartbreaking as three inch seedlings falling over, one at a time...
Ain't THAT the truth!yeah ya learn quick though. Kids these days don’t have the option of practicing on seeds from mexi brick back in the day.
Facts!!!!yeah ya learn quick though. Kids these days don’t have the option of practicing on seeds from mexi brick back in the day.
