I just crossed the Mackinac bridge to the Upper Peninsula (Michigan), I have a delivery in Sault St. Marie in the morning. Nothing exciting to deliver just wood pellets for the pellet stoves. Sweet ride up here

Well, I had some pork baby back BBQ ribs that I made at home in the Instant Pot and some homemade potato salad that I brought along with me today

There is a rest area/welcome center as soon as you cross over into the U.P., I just stopped there for the night. I am the only person here lol. It's really quiet and peaceful, got the sunset behind me and I'll try to get some pics if I can

Going over the bridge was pretty fun, it's a long way down to the water if you were to fall off the side though

I am sorry if my windshield is full of bugs, I've been driving all damn day today and haven't had time to clean it

Here's sunset so far, I'll get another pic or two in a few minutes

Here's a pic I found from a couple weeks ago

Driving on I-84 in Utah, probably one of my favorite areas I've been through so far. It's so beautiful out there. I relayed to one of our drivers in Brigham City, UT

Last week I went to Minneapolis, that was not as much fun as I expected lol. Minneapolis is a big busy city with terrible drivers. I got stuck at a Coca-Cola distribution plant waiting 10 hours for them to load me

Going to be heading out west leaving early morning on Memorial Day, I have a 4 stop run...
Aurora CO
Lakewood CO
Loveland CO
Santa Fe NM

I'm excited, I haven't been to New Mexico yet. My dispatch has been trying to talk me into going on a PNW run sometime. I most likely will this summer.

I really don't like staying out in the truck more than 5-6 days but I'll give it a shot and stay out a little longer so that I can see Washington and Oregon. I usually start missing home after 4-5 days and it can be incredibly stressful out here always looking for a place to park at the end of the day. I've had enough fun after about 5 days lol. I'm not sure if you guys already knew this, for every 1 spot to park there is 11 trucks fighting for that spot. I don't like parking at on/exit ramps and our safety department gets pissed when I do. Sometimes I just don't have any choice because I've run out of driving time and the truck stop or rest area is already full. I have to do what I have to and get a 10 hour break before I get drive time back.

Anyways, I am going to go look at buying a new truck this morning when the dealership opens. I have my eye on a Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 pickup truck

We have a 2003 Dodge 2500 4X4, yes it has a Hemi in it. I would like to go to a 1500 2 wheel drive because I don't go out in the woods anymore but still want to carry stuff. It's the wife's truck so she won't let me sell it though. I am happy with it, it's brought home a bunch of christmas trees and meat for the freezer.

I bought it yesterday, a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4, it's pretty nice and I'm happy. It has some high tech stuff in it though that will take some getting used to lol

There is no shift lever on the steering column and no keys to start the truck. There is a twist knob on the dash for park neutral reverse drive and some weird fob thing that starts the truck

My truck also has the 5.7 Hemi engine
