Age and Smoking?

Out of curiosity.. would smoking some high quality herb kill an old man? How about one that has been smoking all of his life? 60 years old? 70 years old? 80??! I've been thinking about giving a Christmas "present" to my old man and see if he would try it out... Hes never smoked weed before, but he smokes a pack a day of cigs. Id rather have him smoke weed but, would the increased heart rate kill him? Or would everything be all good? What do you guys think? thanks! :joint: :mrgreen:

Nice idea but if your dad aint never smoked weed, then he probably wont. Espicially if he has some kind of heart condition. The "paranoia" will prolly freak him out. But who knows? Maybe he'll like it

I always thought it was funny how open I was with my friends parents about smoking telling them my honest opinion and what not. But when it comes to my parents I never felt like they shared my view on drugs. We always have debates over it, even though they dont know I smoke (denial), and it seems like if I gave my dad weed he would kill me. I wish I could just be like "dad hit this!".

Maybe it'll work for you, good luck if you decide to. =]

Oh yeah, I don't think it'll kill him because I smoke with my maintenance guy who is around 70, but he has smoked for a long time. And, my dad has told me he has tried smoking once, his story then changed to twice, but he says it made him tired and he didnt like that... but he also grew a plant once and "it was the most beautiful plant" so idk.

I suppose you could always speak to a doctor who might know your father condition as well and ask him what he thinks. They are sworn to keep secrets and I feel like most can be trusted.

Heh.. I'll probably show a nug to him and he will be like "get the fuck out" but i think i'm going to try it... OR either spike one of his cigs with some herb :P I dont think he has any heart conditions, he has a drink or two of whiskey and coke to thin his blood everyday. He may have emphysema or however you spell it... thats where you cough a shitton right?

There does not have to be any paranoia, if you are there to set the mood, some nice music, some jokeing about stupid stuff you did growing up... man I wish I still had a grandad...

just spike your dads cig, although i'm sure he would notice the cig being a little bit loose, or if he tries to light up at the mall or something... can you say under arrest? now that would be a interesting news story.

aahah im pretty sure it would be at the house... He doesnt go anywhere often. Id just be spyin on him till he gets a funny look on his face from smokin a spiked cig. Walk in and be like "what you are expiriencing is being high on marijuana. Not that bad now is it? How you feeling?? "

like moderation... because he will be new to the intoxciation..

cuz i get intoxicated almost all the time...LOL..
so my tolerance is HIGH.....
