When do you think its important to give a lot of light to get dence buds. Im thinking cranking up the light in the last 2 ir 3 weeks. Running 1 600 watt per 2 plants and then 1 600 watt per plant and the last 2 weeks 1000w per plant or maybe 1000watt and a 600watt 10 plants 5 1000 watt and 5 600watt. Thoughts

I just cranked down during that period. Seemed to limit some foxtailing that was beginning. I would think that all that extra heat is likely to give you fluffier buds.

I agree with trichdaddy it really depends on if you can get your room or tent environment dialed in to handle the extra light so not get the fox tailing and heat stress. I run my 2 hlg 650 rspec at 100 percent during flower but have to run a/c , fan dehumidifier and sometimes a heater also to keep everything dialed to handle that extra light. If I don’t then my buds get airy and fluffy and look like crap. It’s a learning curve trial and error will point you in the right direction if you watch and learn from what you do.

The buds were already big and tight going into the last 2 weeks. You think the heat could reverse that? Heat is 88 at high i am also using cool tubes.
