PSI on a Chinese Guage?

I finally got a big boy press with 7X7 plates and a 20 ton hydraulic pump press. User guide says to use 800-1200 psi. Cool because this thing has a gauge on it. Well not so much. Anyone know how to convert these Chinese numbers to psi?

I don't get it. What am I missing here? If I'm trying to get up to 800-1200 psi, that would be up around 6,000 KN. This gauge goes nowhere up near that high. Am I supposed to add some zeros or something?

I found out today from Dabpress that I can not change out the gauge. He said something about it being set on the metric system. Said I could add a PSI gauge. Using a manifold in line coming out the pump just after the Chinese KN gauge. Cost would be $100-$300 depending on quality of gauge. Some BULLSHIT! So now I need to figure out how to use the conversion formula properly.

1 mpa is 145.? psi so for 1200 psi you would need around 8.27 mpa... Double check my figures I've based on 145 psi but it's actually 145 and a bit.

'6.9 MPa = 1000 PSI
We recommend to apply 1000 PSI to your material for flower, and 500 PSI to your material for hash or sift. You will also need to consider the surface area of what you are pressing. If you have a filter bag filled at 2x4", you have 8 sq/in in total you are pressing onto. For example, if this bag contains flower, at 8 sq/in and you want to put 1000 PSI onto your material, you need a total of 8000 lbs of force.
8000 lbs of force total is needed, so we must divide that by the cylinder effective area of 4. This gives us 2000 PSI on the gauge or 13.8 MPa to apply 1000 PSI over 8 sq/in.
The math is as follows - 2x4" of flower needs 1000 PSI at the material = 8000 lbs in total. 8000/4 = 2000 PSI, 2000 PSI converted to MPa = 13.8 MPa on the gauge."

Okay now I got it figured out. I'm guessing that the cylinder effective area varies per machine. I've already way over pressed a lil over a QP of some decent OG Kush. I'm so excited to do it right now!
