Nope don't look directly at them. I'm under 20k watts or more depending on what room I'm in. Not peepers damage here.

Check out method 7 grow room glasses. Yes, there are cheaper ones out there but Method 7 uses a very high quality lens, I have very lite blue eyes and strain on clody days, with my Method 7 glasses I have no issues under grow lights. There are different ones for different lights.

I just wear ray bans or oakleys whichever I’m wearing for the day

Don't feel like that's doing much for ya. Good for looking cool, but most likely not keeping your eyeballs cool. I can say from experience that grow room glasses are way different at how they block light compared to outdoor sun glasses.

Everything works well on its own for me

You're more likely to get damage from LED. The diodes flash very fast, and your brain cannot process it that fast, and it looks solid. However, your brain gets rewired somehow when observing natural light. I see flashes in my peripheral vision in natural sunlight now. I have Method7's, but didn't get them for a while after I started growing. ... wished I would have found them sooner.

Yeah I have bad vision from looking at HPS lights for too long. The crazy thing is. I have a pair of glasses to help with that, but I never wear them lol
