Cmh hurt eyes

Exposure to an intense and powerful (LED) light is 'photo-toxic' and can lead to irreversible loss of retinal cells and diminished sharpness of vision," it said. The agency wrote a 400-page report which distinguished between acute exposure of high-intensity LED light and "chronic exposure" to lower intensity sources.May 16, 2019

im not drunk. Have been growing for almost ten years. And came back from eye doc w a mole on eye. Looking to see if anybody has had the same experience

Use eye protection. Jfc lmao yeah the lights that are used to substitute the sun for indoor horticulture will damage your eyes. I’m laughing at you.

On a less mean spirited note, wear eye pro you’ve only got the one set. I know it’s easy to forget when you’re blazing but damn.

I've just noticed that my eyesight has gone down since I started growing. I always had perfect vision until my first grow under CHM without glasses or anything. But I think LED without UV can stress them out too.

I wish I would've always worn them. I need reading glasses now. I've been to the eye doctor a few years ago for the first time, and I'm a little worried about going back, :dunce:. My lazy ass doesn't always take the precautions I should.

Of course intense light causes retina damage over time...if you're worried about it like they said, wear glasses. I personally don't need to go into my grow room for more than like 5 min a day, so I personally don't bother with glasses. If I worked in there alot, I would.
