lol yea im retarded, forgot that they can be only ones in a flowering area. Well let me rephrase that question without the other flowers, should i have intense lighting(250w hps and 2 55w T5 lighting) or add light as they get a week or 2 old. Im really wanting to get as much vertical and horizontal growth as possible so my ak's can be as bushy and as full of bud as they can be. Any tips on the lighting, and any other auto flowering tips?

:leaf:my mini room runs on 18/6 hour cycle, so far so good it will stay so for full 60 days:leaf: on next project i will try the 19/5 cycle on autoflowering strains. for i have heard, is that more lights = more buds, my distance between the light bulb and the nearest plants is 30 - 35 cm. i raise the light every now an then, as needed, so that i don't :fire: them. good luck with your plants:bigjoint:

O ok thanks heft. Do you use the same amount of lighting from day 1 - day 60? Because i know that people will use cfl's on their seedlings at first and then after a couple of weeks will move to a MH or HPS. But not only am i going to be using a 250w hps for 3 auto ak 47's, i'll also be using 2 55w T5 bulbs as side lighting. Is that too much light for the seedlings, or will they benefit from all that light as soon as they sprout?

Your lights should be fine just be careful until they take off which shouldnt be long. I used MH on a 19/5 cycle for the first month then switched to hps for fatter buds.

O ok sounds good Willwork, im going to switch the mh and hps as well. But back to the breeding auto's, if i take a fem auto ak 47 and pollinate an auto diesel ryder, will the seeds be for sure an equal mix of the two and it should be stable right?

a lot of work, but you must give a plant a little love:hug: then she grows better an has bigger buds, i SURE HOPE SO bongsmilie

try to use good nice lookin plants for this process of pollinating and i'm sure you will get it right, then you'll have your own ak47 ryder x diesel ryder autoflower seeds, worth houndreds of $. :eyesmoke:

Im pretty sure all auto strains have to be mixed with LR i.e Auto ak-47, auto lemon skunk, auto blueberry etc. thats how they become auto. So i suppose if you take a auto ak and auto diesel ryder and bred them it would be fine and fully auto. Im kinda new at this myself and havent realy got into the breeding and making my own strains yet, but good luck i hope it works!

Damn, that's quite an undertaking. What size room are you using for 90 babies? I am growing a few LR2 right now for seed. They are fun and easy.
