Yea I'm doing soil + organics. Not sure what soil to go with yet either.

How exactly do i use drops to check soil ph? Would i scoop soil out of bucket, mix with water & add drops?

Yeah, its a slurry test same as for a ppm or ec reading. Soil is very difficult to change pH, especially pot soil like ocean forest. I’m colorbling so strips are out. I use a cheap set of pens as a gauge, never trust the readings but they can be calibrated by checking distilled water which is right around 7.0-7.1. And again the soils are made for cannabis, most nutes too. Hydro or coco, totally different.

You know inside your house is already jacked up on co2 ? Shouldn’t your ventilation system be exchanging air every min? I agree on having an oscillating fan but imo it doesn’t have anything to do with co2

I agree that C02 should be last on the list.

Elevated C02 levels in a house don't necessarily correspond to elevated C02 levels in a tent.
My CO2 levels in the house are ~500 but the CO2 levels in my tent will drop to <350 within an hour when the the tent is full.
The drop is most pronounced in the winter when the exhaust fan is running slowly.

I agree with all of that. Just didn’t seem to make sense to claim oscillating fan would effect levels nevermind to the point of higher returns

Just to throw my 2 cents in. And its literally 2 cents, as ive only tried 2 organic setups.
Buy Build A Soils premixed Coots Minerals and Coots Nutrients. Only thing you need to add is Dolomite Lime for Ph buffering which allows you to water straight tap water, no Ph adjustments needed.

Seemed like a lot of the failed organic grows i saw were almost always due to people making their own, or going off a buddies recipe.
Building your own base soil mix is super easy. 1/3 Promix (peat), 1/3 perlite or pumice, and 1/3 mix of Malibu Compost and Earth Worm Castings.

With that being said, ive also done organics in a coco base. Also called as the Gaia Green Method here.
It worked super easy too. I just wasnt a fan of the coco breaking down into a super fine dust.
This method is based on using Gaia Greens premixed nutrients. I used Down To Earth as a United States alternative (Gaia is Canadian) .

But yeah, this is my favorite way to grow by far,. Super super easy as long as you setup your soil correctly!

There's nothing wrong with the old controller, it works great, but the 69 has Bluetooth and way more features with the app, and can control more accessories, 4 as opposed to 2.

Based on your suggestion..
I cancelled my order & ordered directly from AC Infinity, so now im 100% sure i'm gonna get the controller 69. I just hope shipping doesn't take forever!
