Just saying
Really, I've been here awhile & met a lot of good people & met hardly any evil people, which is greatly appreciated by me, indeed
Anyway, I'll get to the point, which is that I know for most everyone the last 2 years have been the most fucked up years in their lives & has upended their life as they knew it.
From now on we'll be thinking about that life before this shit happened (Trump/the Virus) & how nothing will be the same.
So, during all that shit where nobody could go anywhere & were pretty much confined, I went here & found some sense of normality & much needed inter-action between me & a Human (my bunnies weren't enough )
Anyway, I've got a new job that I know absolutely nothing about, which is heading the fucking shoe dept at Macy's in Danbury, CT, one of Macy's last standing brick & mortar stores & like one of their prizes, & they put into a very stressful/demanding situation where the former manager was Dyslexic, so evey fucking thing was reversed for someone that didn't suffer from that illness.
Example....
How would you stack a shoe shelf?
Size 12 at the top or bottom or top?
If you said the top, I'm sorry for your condition
That's what I have to deal with, revamping the entire storage area, while at the same time working the floor.
So, today was a motherfucker & you know what, I have been here for the last 2 hours & have laughed for the last 2 hours which is very, very nice.
This is what brought cheer to me today, just has it had for the last 2 years
So, before the Mod's pull it, I just want to thank you (& I guess RIU) for all you have given me.
The opportunity/freedom to communicate/intact with like minded people & gain/achieve some sense of normalcy when things suck.
Thanks
James
