Stretching/growth during flower

This is a first for me...

This little auto flower (I have grown with these seeds before) went into flower as normal, however I want to mention now it had a little shaky start, as a seedling the cotyledon leaves seemed to have a hard time emerging but did make it in the end.

Now gone into flower like normal however even though it had already done a little stretching during the earlier stages, it seems to keep stretching. I've attached a picture to try give a idea.

Is it anything to worry about or something I'm doing wrong? Only difference to usual auto grows is that I have given it a 17/5 light cycle and give grow and bloom nutes separately.

sativa dominant flowers sometimes do this with photoperiods. less N, lower temps and shorter light schedules help minimize it with photos but i dont grow autos

It looks like a re-veg with all the single blade leafs up top but shouldn’t be since it’s an auto. Interesting. Maybe a mutant. Not much of an auto grower either. It looks healthy otherwise

This is what I would have said if it was a photo and I had changed back to longer light cycles.
It's been a weird grow really as the one next to it was a "feminine auto" NL and has turned out to be a photo since it's been growing in veg for the last 4 months without a bud in sight. Was worried it had hermied but haven't seen a set of balls anywhere so hoping it was simply mislabeled!

I've switched the lights to 12/12 since the NL and my genuine photo are ready to bloom. Will see what this does for the stretching in the auto

Not sure why you would feed grow and bloom on plant same time. Higher N ( over nute / etc ) can give you those stacked calyx ( foxtail ) / shiny leaf. Many sativas can throw foxtails genetically but over feeding can exaggerate the issue. Sativas grow flower in that spear shape - but autos do not need complicated feeds. Most autos can be run on medium alone with minimal recharging. Over feed it / over water it / stress it - expect wonky shit.

Simple 18/6 , 20/4 or 24/0 cycle ( no light variations or modded times . ) Grow nutes up to point of sexxing / transition- then Bloom around time of stretch. From then on , plant would get a lower N ratio ( plant still needs N - photosynthesis/ cell health / etc. ) BUT if still going over board on N , it will show excess in different ways - shiny / dark leaf , malformed flowers / slower growth.

Once it finishes stretch- autos are in “ bloom “ mode and should be fed that way .

I understand this, however in all my previous grows I have kept some bio grow in their feed even during flowering. I cannot say if this is the "right" thing to do as under the biobizz feeding charts, it says to continue feeding grow nutes all the way until flush.

I cut them right down to only 1ml per litre of water as opposed to what they recommend at this stage (think 4-6ml per litre)

Not saying this is correct, just that I have given them more N at this stage in the past and never had this issue, the only reason I am doing this now is I give it a little sprinkle hence why it gets a seperate feed
