Kushner focusing on Russia investigation, Trump impeachment in memoir
Jared Kushner’s upcoming book will focus on the investigation into Russia’s election interference, former President Trump’s impeachment trial and other topics, according to his publisher.

The book, from Trump’s son-in-law and former White house aide, titled “Breaking History: A White House Memoir,” will offer “an honest and nuanced look at one of the most consequential presidencies in recent times,” according to Broadside Books, which is a conservative imprint of HarperCollins Publishers.

It is set to be released on Aug. 9.

“His memoir is his account of the most astonishing presidential campaigns in history, the high-stakes Russia investigation and impeachment trial, and the existential crises of the COVID-19 pandemic,” Broadside Books wrote in a statement. “Kushner reveals what really happened inside the Trump White House—not to settle scores, but to give a true insider account of history.”

Kushner was one of the former president’s closest and most trusted advisers during his four years in office. He had a wide ranging portfolio but largely focused on the Middle East, with one of his largest accomplishments being the Abraham Accords, the joint statement establishing diplomatic ties between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

He currently heads Affinity Partners, a global investment firm.

The publisher said Kushner “takes readers inside debates in the Oval Office, battles at the United Nations, meetings in Arab palaces, and high-stakes negotiations in Israel, North Korea, China, Mexico, and beyond.”

“From his office next to the president, senior adviser Jared Kushner operated quietly behind the scenes, preferring to leave the turf wars and television sparring to others as he focused on advancing high-impact goals that experts dismissed as impossible,” the publisher added.

Kushner’s upcoming book is one of a number of memoirs from former administration officials recounting their time in the White House. Writers have included former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham and former Attorney General William Barr.

Will be listed in the fiction category.

Kushner is a joke of a person just a waste the whole family is. What I don’t Understand is how we could follow the dumb and blind so willingly but that’s another topic. I think all billionaire families are more or less a crime syndicate or else they wouldn’t be billionaires there is not a billionaire in the world who hasn’t made his money on the backs of others and taken advantage or committed acts through out to stay that way.

Had that thought myself.

Trump Organization Reaches $750K Settlement With DC in Inaugural Committee Funds Lawsuit
The Trump Organization and the Presidential Inaugural Committee reached a $750,000 settlement with the Washington, D.C., attorney general’s office to resolve a lawsuit by the city that alleged the committee overpaid for events at the former president’s hotel.

D.C. attorney general Karl Racine said the city will split the funds from the settlement among local youth-focused nonprofits Mikva Challenge DC and DC Action.

“With our lawsuit, we are now clawing back money that Trump’s own inaugural committee misused,” Racine said in a statement. “We’re giving it to District nonprofits that will use those funds to help support civic engagement for the next generation of District leaders. No one is above the law—not even a president.”

The agreement says the case is being resolved “to avoid the cost, burden, and risks of further litigation” and that the organizations “dispute these allegations on numerous grounds and deny having engaged in any wrongdoing or unlawful conduct.”

Trump in a statement denied any wrongdoing.

Winning.

Another example of Trump world skating above the law with a slap on the wrists. There is just too much crime to actually bust a criminal at the very top of government, whose public crimes are too numerous to mention. This kind of injustice breeds contempt for the law and cynicism among the public, both are destructive to a liberal democracy. He stole tens of millions in a slam dunk case and was fined a mere 750K over 5 years later. Clearly Donald can do no wrong and must be treated differently than other citizens and not subjected to the harsh realities of the law, that might upset his millions of fans. It puts the country under the control of psychopaths, the mentally ill and the hate filled, like Putin, nobody wants to upset them, as they hold the majority hostage and rig the elections in the states they control. Bigotry and fear equal power and facts don't matter at all, neither does religion or patriotism. A third of Americans are at civil war, a third don't care and a third actually give a fuck about democracy, the constitution and understand the implications of it's loss.

Mark Esper recounts Trump asking the stunned SecDef if the government could fire missiles into Mexico and then pretend it wasn’t the US who did it in his new memoir
Trump 2024! If the republicans win the house and senate big enough they will impeach Biden once a month and Harris right after until the republican speaker becomes president. Garland will be a congressional witness to months on end as they seek to discredit the J6 investigation. The lunacy will have just begun if they win in November, the only hope is Trump, abortion and Ukraine driving a wedge into them before November, but the hate is strong within them and unites them. I don't expect the treason and sedition of J6 to have much of an impact on republican voters, they already knew he was a traitor before they voted for him, so sedition is no big deal.

Hardly more out there than bleaching the virus away in minutes.
Not even SNL could have done better, comedy gold and a perfect example of the Greek term tragicomedy, cause it was in the middle of a pandemic with thousands dying a day.
