Hey I’m sure you’ll get some great smoke from those plants. I remember a time when I would have given my left nut for a 1/4oz of brown brick weed…..and I know I’m not alone. We used to call it “bring me down brown”.
I just jumped back into the grow scene after many many yrs on the sideline. I had some success outdoors but I had a great mentor and supervisor at the time and have forgotten most of what I was taught.
I found that indoors presents a totally different set of variables and my past experience wasn’t all that helpful anyway.
Being with my plants everyday, as opposed to seeing them once every 3 weeks, made it hard for me to leave well enough alone. My constant hovering and tinkering led to way too much stress and a leaf situation that looked a lot like yours but worse.
In the end they just would not finish (white hairs wouldn’t turn, hardly any amber trichs) despite being autos and 20 weeks old. I finally pulled them and the final product is less than spectacular. The best plant was lost to mold and the other two were simply overcooked on the inside.
I did a big defoliation too late into flower and it threw them into a tailspin. Almost all the other leaves started to yellow and die off. I tried to clip them before they got into the buds, but the situation just ruined them. Even the sugar leaves were brown and crispy…..including the ones I couldn’t see that were buried in the mass of calyces.
Boy did I learn a valuable lesson. U can bet your ass I’ll be pruning less and trying to keep the leaves as healthy as possible until the last day.
They had lost their skunky smell and stickiness weeks earlier…..but still have a decent smooth hit and mellow high.
I’m not sure why I rambled on about my grow….my intent was to tell you that I had the same issue with pictures from my IPhone not looking the best. While my grow didn’t end all that well there was a time when the buds looked amazing. When I snapped a few pics something with lighting or camera focus must have been off, because it caused the buds to not be very photogenic. This was only when they were outside the grow room and not under the white LED.
That was the first thing I thought of when I saw your pics.
Don’t let anyone get under your skin. Some folks don’t have the best bedside manners but usually criticize with the best of intentions. It’s not easy to grow super high end A+ buds. So some of those members that have that ability like to chastise others to help them forget about their C- grows when they started….lol
Enjoy your harvest.
