which greenhouse strain is the best

ripz, i have grown altrahaze and white widow from the greenhouse and they were both great strains. 10/10 WW germed and all 10 were fems. You cant ask for any btr. 2/2 haze germed, i chucked one and planted the other. She is now 5ft and will yield close to a lb under my 1000watter. Bottom line is they have great genetics at a great price

huh? attitude are a seedbank they stock a lot of strains from a lot of breeders some good and some bad i was merely saying that world of seeds is a better breeder than greenhouse, much more stable. i dont understand what "you seem to be much of a critict.?" means are you saying i'm not very good at critisising?(if thats how u spell it?) or that i do it too much?they sell greenhouse seeds, so how is this better, you seem to be much of a critict.?

Thanks for the heads up on World of Seeds strains. Do you prefer or have you had experience with any particular World of Seeds strain?
Dr. Cronic carries strains from WOS as well. A little comparsion shopping between Attitude and Dr. Cronic reveals that some cost savings can be had on both sites on various WOS strains.
Do you prefer one site over the other for any reason? I've only dealt with DC but have read in the forums that Attitude is used by lots of members in the RIU community.

I'm not the greenhouse expert, but after seeing what others think, and after growing Arjan's Strawberry Haze, I can say that i will not be continuing with GH anytime in the near future.
What I was drawn to about ASH was the ability for the plant to stay super low, and it didn't do that at all, stretched like a bitch. Which tells me that the genetics wern't there. Which is what I have seen everyone else posting.

Why the greenhouse bashing all the sudden ? This is the first thread I've seen with complaints, everyone usually grows decent plants with high strength. He does some good marketing, so what ? So does coke, are you going to stop drinking it ?
All I know is I've saw some nice Greenhouse plants, they weren't alaskan ice.
I also saw another thread about how Nirvana is way better than Greenhouse, I will disagree with that any day of the week.

wow thats the first real major bashing ive seen about greenhouse. i havnt grown greenhouse seeds yet but will. i was also planing on getting some of them colored variety packs. they coulda coated them all with the same color hormones but and anti-pathogens, but the different colors is more appealing to all ages not just preschool. they been coating vegetable seeds like this for years and seems to work great.
i like the variety pack not for the coating but just for the 5 different strains in the same pack and they are identified. i will still order these and some world of seeds just to try them both and come to my own conclusion.

Obviously some friction here with GHS and ripz. Were all entitled to our opinions. If your still considering GHS I kinda like the varity packs as well just for the different seeds. I could care less about the color cuz they are going underground neways. I could also careless about who bought...cough cough, I mean won the cannibus cup.
I will tell you that Serious Seeds has only a few strains and they are all KICK ASS
definately worth a looksey whilst browsing the "tude" ooh yeah make sure you play their attitude radio while there

im growing big bang, white widow, alaskan ice and strawberry haze from GHS at the moment (as well as bhudda blue cheese and sensi skunk #1)
the white widow is a pleasure to grow, nice and easy and flowering nice and quick and more importantly big
would recommend this strain to everyone
the big bang is similar but its shorter but the buds are thicker, its also a bit 'fussy' needs quite a specific temp/nute routine or it shows deficiency symptoms
the alaskan ice so far as been very disapointing, its description gives the impression that its very similar to white widow but this couldnt be further from the truth, its very tall and very slow flowering, nice and easy to grow tho but i certainly wouldnt recommend it to beginners. much more sativa than its official description would indicate.
the strawberry haze is a really nice grower too, quite a bit taller than the WW/BB but still far from unmanagable, its flowering nicely maybe a week behind the WW/BB, no complaints from me but ive heard its got a problem with hermie traits, im not quite that far into flowering yet so i cant comment. right now it seems like an excellent strain.
the blue cheese and the skunk #1 are also amazing, dont be suckered by the GHS marketing machine, all the seed banks have excellent strains, my advice is to shop around, look at some grow journals and dont experiment with 'new' strains that you havnt seen before, you may not get what you want (like me and the alaskan ice)
