Watering with living soil?

How often, and how thoroughly should I water? I'm used to letting it dry out every 2 or 3 days, but I heard the microbes need to stay moist. Would that rule out using the fabric pots that I have? I was hoping to use 3 gallon, but I have some 5 gallon that I could use instead. I'll be using it with a dripper system, and ideally just adding water, without runoff. I have a bunch of synthetic nutrients, but figured learning organic instead would be worth it because of the lack of runoff.

Everyday! If you get runoff instantly during watering than increase water volume next day. If you get runoff like 10-15 minutes after watering then decrease volume next day. No runoff than it’s juuuusssstt right and stay the course.

Also pot sizes need to be larger when compared to “traditional” bottle fed grows.

a 5 gallon pot for me would = a 1-2 week veg time straight from clone. 7s or bigger for larger veg times or bigger plants.

I watered once every morning with my 3gallon pots using what build soil recommended.

"5-10% of the soil volume for potting soils.

Small Containers with bigger plants need daily water."

"So how much water is 5% or 10%?

Use your soil volume to multiply by 5% or 10%

For example: 30 Gallons of soil = (30 gallons of soil x 5% = 1.5 gallons of water)"

"It's up to you! Water slowly to evenly saturate. (We use the Chapin 1949 Sprayer) Use 10% by volume water or 1 gallon for every 10 gallons of soil used. Tip: Use Aloe and Yucca to help hydrate the Hydrophobic Peatmoss"
