In proper English that phrase would be, the "entire world's economy"

For the past couple of weeks, drivers in the so-called "People's Convoy" who have been circling the Beltway in Washington D.C. have been upset that commuters in the city have given them a rude reception.

Last week, for example, Daily Beast reporter Zachary Petrizzo captured a video of a trucker complaining about how many drivers in the area had given him the middle finger.

"You go around the Beltway, birds are flying, birds are flying everywhere!" the trucker said. "That's the kind of people that live up there, you know? It's a different world, D.C. is a different world."

Now, however, Petrizzo brings word that the "People's Convoy" truckers are convinced that the people who don't like them must be part of a broader operation by the anti-fascist group antifa.

"Today while circling the Beltway, The People's Convoy became increasingly paranoid over standard commuter cars they believe to be with 'antifa,'" Petrizzo writes on Twitter. "'Six antifa vehicles! Six antifa vehicles,' a trucker said over the CB radio. 'Keep your heads on a swivel!' another trucker yelled."

Additionally, Petrizzo reports that some convoy truckers have now made their way into Washington D.C. and are feeling "triggered" because so many people in the city are telling them to "go home."

There is no evidence that "antifa" is trying to disrupt the convoy, and the more likely explanation is that commuters on the Beltway simply don't like having their drives slowed down.

The pt cruiser with the hood up made me laugh.

If anyone feels positive towards this convoy crap, you are a stupid fucking person. Just straight up dumb, with a soft doughy brain and life. You are less than robroy's battle against that 711 employee that refused him service because he refused to wear pants.

Video obtained by The Daily Beast's Zachary Petrizzo shows members of the "People's Convoy" pinning down a biker who earlier had given them the middle finger.

According to Petrizzo, the incident depicted in the video took place on March 16th at one of the 14th Street bridges in Washington D.C.

As Petrizzo tells it, the convoy truckers accosted the biker after he flipped them off. Shortly afterward, he writes, "the biker's head was slammed into the ground -- following truckers allegedly stealing his bike keys."

The video in question does not show the truckers slamming the biker's head or taking his keys, but it does show that three truckers clearly had him pinned to the ground as they stood around him.

In a follow-up tweet, Petrizzo claims that this was not an isolated incident with the convoy.

"After covering The People’s Convoy now for three weeks, I can say violence and threats are a feature, not a bug," he writes.

The first pic of the PT cruiser I thought oh cool. If they’d built it on a full-size platform like the Dodge Intrepid (with attendant hatroom), but no. They chose Neon and look, clown car.
