Jacks 321 Nitrogen Toxicity Week 2 Flower Help

I have been growing for 4 years now. This is my first grow with jacks. Im growing in Coco and Perlite. I went full strength through Veg with minor nute burn, but got great results. The first week for flower I used 2/2/2/Moab and started to show N toxicity by week 2. Its pretty bad.This is a proven nute ratio for bloom. Did I make a mistake some where? What can I do to save my plants? Why does Jack have such a high N ratio?

2/2/2/Moab? That's not 321. Stick to the 321 ratio, and skip the moab. Personally I do 2.7/1.8/0.9, which is the 321 ratio, but at 90% strength, which my plants seem to be happier with in coco/perlite.

What EC do you use through veg? I just had some magnesium and calcium deficiencies with from what seemed like N caused lockout. I also switched to rockwools slabs, and I'm trying to figure out if it was the Jack's or my watering habit while they were going through their little transplant period.

Hush. Some of us are actually trying to grow cannabis on here. I never had any sort of cal/mag deficiencies with Canna Coco A B. Jack's has been a mysterious fellow that I have yet to get the hang of. It seems like everyone uses the 321 ratio, but they all have a different chart. Some use full strength all the way through. Some start really low and peak at 1.8 or lower in flower. Some push it it in the 2.0s. I was ramping it up and giving them around 1.2 at about 3 weeks old when I noticed the leaves starting to purple a bit. Then a little rust. They are almost back to 100% now. I flushed them really well, mag foliar sprayed, and started watering twice a day at around 1.4.

I can say that iv seen a lot of plants push through nitrogen toxicity during flower but it has always resulted in stunted growth and smaller buds. Nitrogen will reduce or lock out the amount of potassium and calcium n your plant and from there more problems could arise if the issue isn't correct or balanced

can you reduce the strength of the nutes to 1/2 after a flush? You might notice positive results.

can you reduce the strength of the nutes to 1/2 after a flush? You might notice positive results.

I usually sit around 1.3 to 1.4 EC all the way from veg to flower. Honestly I stopped measuring EC with Jacks once I figured out what works for me. I drip 4x per lights on cycle in coco/perlite, so the plants are continually fed. I also use fulvic acid which is the next natural chelator, so the plants are able use more of the nutes that I put in the media. I'm actually taking a short break from coco right now, and doing a couple of soil grows, just to keep things fresh. I do plan to put some new clones into cups of coco this week though.

Hmm. It may not be the EC then. I wasn't watering the slabs to runoff because I transplanted them a little early and wanted the roots to spread. I think I might have let them dry out too much, which caged the roots and spiked the EC. Since I've been watering them twice a day I noticed that the rockwool is staying evenly hydrated. I have a Growtek system that is supposed to get here Monday, so I'll be able to feed them multiple times a day.

I also started using Recharge due to BK hyping it. It has all of the additives that I used to use from Raw, along with the microbes. It also smells good.

I think those types of PK boosters are supposed to be stand alone. Jack's makes a PK booster, but you cut out the A / B & epsom while you use it for a couple of weeks. That would explain the high nitrogen content. Their version is 10-30-20.

Directions for use:
M.O.A.B. can be used during the first week of bloom to support the start of the flowering cycle. Add M.O.A.B. during the last two to three weeks of flowering for added levels of phosphorous and potassium. Combine 1-2 teaspoons of M.O.A.B. per 5 gallons ( 1ml per gallon) of feed water. The amount of base nutrients may need to be reduced by as much as 50% when using M.O.A.B., overfeeding may burn plants.

When you say 2-2-2, do you mean as the ratio for Jack's? I've been considering something like that. Maybe 2-3-1 for the first week of flower. I'm thinking if I cut the calnit, the excess nitrogen will get used during the stretch. Then resume with something like 2-2-1 until harvest. The nitrogen "2" would mostly be for the calcium. 321 seems ideal for veg though.
