Cool thanks, what about in veg when using foliage spray, plants take a lot of nutrients thru leaves
Its fine to spray in veg out door not sure why someone would say its bad, Gotta have IPM sprays at least once a week what about rain. Once plants are a few weeks into budding no more spraying.

Water and fungicide/ foliar feed are different things. A sprinkler can cause splash up of soil transferring soil borne diseases . A sprinkler has to run for a long long time to water sufficient imo. In flower i wish i could stop the rain . Why would you want wet buds?

Mulching my tomatoes and peppers with straw almost eliminated all of the diseases I used to get from rain pelting the soil up into the plant itself. It's a great idea to mulch your outdoor plants if you aren't doing so already. Of course it's better not to overhead water your flowering plants-they get enough of that from the rain. Once botrytis infects a bud, it spreads like lightning through water-I've often seen a single bud infect an entire plant within days after a good rain.
