Slight light leak during flip to flower ...smh

Put my girls into darkness 1.5 days ago and realized that light from other room leaked through for an hour or two through a/c tubing, which is bumming me out. Dumbass move on my part. Not direct blinding light but still not ideal. Are my plants gonna be totally whacked out when I turn the lights in and start the flower cycle? Please be honest. Thanks

I can’t see 1hr or 2 having any effect on your plants. I could be wrong I’m no expert. I just don’t see that really having a disastrous effect on your grow.

I have always been under the impression that 12 hrs of uninterrupted darkness is what triggers cannabis to flower. A light leak can stress the plants. BUT...... I'm no expert or master grower. Using logic and reason I'd assume that a "light leak" would have to have enough LUX to activate the plant phytochromes to truly interrupt the dark phase. So even going in the growroom in the dark and lighting a pocket lighter isn't enough light to awaken them. Similar to the OP's light leak through a ducting run. The lights intensity has been dulled down is my point and the plant doesn't truly see it.
Having a timer fail on a lighting system, now that's a light the plants will see and stress.

My plant is flowering, despite being bombarded with city night lights, neighbouring backyard lights left on throughout the night, a large & crazy intensity white city street light facing into the back yard so...I suggest... Don't sweat it was also... Have read that variables such as moonlight intensity light during the 'dark' period, serve to promote bud growth

I'm flowering in tents right now that have literally a ton of light leaks. I turn on the room light many times a day, no effects. They are flowering as normal. Don't buy into the myths.

You flipped a day ago. You have nothing to worry about. I would sure up them leaks though

Lol I will start a new coco journal soon with light leaks, seedlings fed daily etc, to disprove the myths. Hope you join along bud.

No I don’t follow single incidents
I couldn’t care less if you have a couple tents growing with doors open
My room has six open bulb 600 watt hps and I’m not going to try leaving doors open or lights on
