Help do I have thrips

Someone on another thread said I may have thrips can’t see any bugs or pests on my plants I’m growing mango haze if this helps what do you guys think

Your plants look like they are about to start cannibalism if you don’t feed them & raise that light a tad. The leaves up top are canoeing. Sign if the light being too close. Feed them. Is that coco? If so.. feed them like 2x a day in that small pot. Don’t let it dry out. Make sure to use nutrients formulated for coco as well. Unless it really makes no difference.. I use soil.. idk.

Thanks for that iv had them in them pots for 6 days now so raise the light a fair bit? And continue to feed twice daily? With my coco A&B and root stimulant

How do I treat this I can’t see any visible sign of these thrips other than damage to lower leaves before I got these clones?

Yes that's thrips. Hit them hard now and they'll be gone quickly. If you got extra funds get some amblyseius cucumeris or a mix of beneficials and they'll massacre a small thrips infestation really quick.

My grow shop said they gave a spray for thrips silk this work

Soak the shit out of them top and bottom leafs with Spinosad/Capt Jacks right before lights out.

It's basically Spinosad in a ready to spray. You can get it at most garden stores.

Thrips are very hard to see. I use a 1200x's microscope to check (I've had them on clones once)... they lay eggs on the top of the leaf, and feed on the bottom side of the leaf. Capt Jacks will knock them out very quickly. Just don't spray until right before lights out to avoid burning your plant.

Yes.. spray until dripping wet tops and bottoms of a leafs.

That’s great does this apply with all thrips sprays as my local hydroponic store said they do a spray specially for thrips didn’t tell me the name said it’s around 15pounds for 2 litre bottle also said I use it 2 days in a row then that should be it

Been told of the store it’s called doctor smickle he said they shouldn’t really be selling it but they have it anyway

Assuming you're in the UK?... see if they have straight Spinosad in a concentrate.

Brilliant thank you so much I appreciate the time you’ve took to help me means a lot someone else said maybe higher the cfl aswell would you suggest the same does it look too close?
