Could You Grow Three Pounds A Light --- with the right coach?

The best I've grown is 850 grams (1.87 pounds) in one grow. I've been reading up on a book called 'Three A Light" and some of the techniques they use.

I'm so impressed that I ordered their Success Nutrients (complete package), and they've sent me an extra free book to give away during the thread I'll run.

Anyone have experience with 'Three A Light'? Success Nutrients?

.

I'll be starting the thread as soon as my gear gets here, I'm looking forward to this next grow.

In my commercial buildings I shoot for 3/4 to a lbs per plant. Home I’ve hit just shy of 2.25 lbs dry. It was a wide ass plant topped to hell and back trained and all that good stuff. It was in a 10 gal pot with soil and I fed at the time was just mega crops 2 part and recharge.

I've been shooting for half a pound per plant. My earlier grows with a Black Dog LED were 1/2 lbs per plant but lately my yields have dropped to 1/4 lbs per plant. I switched my light with the hope my yields raise above old levels.

Which lights did you switch to?

I have 4 plants under 1 HLG 650R and average over 3 lbs per harvest, last was well over 4 lbs. The light is on a light rail, plants are in a 3’x8’ scrog, coco and perlite, jacks 321, nothing new or special. Not sure if your trying to get 3 lbs per plant or light. If per light, easily done if you have the right light and setup.

I switched to a Scorpion Diablo by HLG, the PPM chart was very even across the canopy. I'm very happy with it so far, lots of new growth. I'd recommend one if you're looking for a new light.

I believe 'Three A Light' use a Gravita, not sure yet the importance. I should get my book in a day or two, I'll report back after reading.

Thanks Hook Daddy, fabulous results!

You use a Light Rail on an 8'x3', I had the same set up for years before switching to my tent! I grew 12 plants but my harvest per plant wasn't always good.

Do you have any pics of the process?

Oh I’m working on it lol but as of now, no I’m not there . I’m actually more concerned with the quality than yield . Yield is why I grow outdoors but I’m learning

Strain choice really matters when your are going for yield to really test out a light too. I just finished trimming my latest crop and will be posting my results later today once I can weigh everything out, but one plant produced as much as the other three combined, so just be sure you use a good yielder.

I'm going to be running East Coast Sour Diesel by Dr Greenthumb, reported by Dr Gruber to have good yield and an almost psychedelic high. I'll run a clone test the next grow, running my biggest producer clones.

Sounds good Hobbes! My best producer this run was actually a Sour Diesel/landrace cross, it was an excellent plant all around. I love the SD high, good choice.

"Here’s one term you’ll hear often when it comes to this method: Schwazze (pronounced SHHwahZZ). What is it?

Schwazze is a cultivation technique that requires heavy defoliation in order to grow a hearty plant with excellent yield. It focuses on directing energy toward better airflow and light penetration. This encourages new growth and results in an incredible harvest. For a complete guide on incorporating this method in your own garden, we highly recommend the Three A Light book.

This is a method we’ve personally used and perfected through our own commercial growing endeavors. Our Success Nutrient system offers nine nutrient blends, each intended for use during a specific point in the plant’s life cycle for optimal growth and yield.

As growers ourselves, our goal was to simplify what can be a very complex process to allow commercial growers more time to focus on their business as well as allowing small hobbyist gardeners an opportunity to grow like the pros. The Success Nutrient system takes the guesswork out of nutrient application and feeding schedules."
