Next seeds I buy are probably gonna be Humboldt Seed Co beans. Consistent, easy to grow, fairly priced, and I can pick em up in person in my area.

That first pic isn’t natural either. It’s got shadows everywhere. It’s shitty lighting no matter how you slice it.

2nd one is edited or flashed so I get what your saying but good lighting techniques can get them to look 10x better than the first one and much closer to the 2nd.

If you don’t know how to take proper photos then yes they will look like first picture.

Not all great pictures are photo edited. They have proper lighting and settings.

Flash isn’t so bad.. but I have picked some IG stuff. Won’t be looking for anymore for quite some time. This is about 5% of my collection. 6FE6254B-9451-4039-B1D3-26D17A8AD052.jpeg3508ADE1-8409-49E2-8F16-EB330C263D58.jpeg7BB1DA9D-F3EC-4A1F-84D0-F86FECE763FD.jpegA87023D8-DF0A-42E8-8D3D-0E8905E2C489.jpeg8D68B1BE-7B8D-4F28-8DD8-EABDE2068FE4.jpeg75E10EAB-4766-4A77-B513-64604459911E.jpeg229F6DFE-CD1E-4CCF-8FC0-13EE989888F7.jpegB54A1D74-8DD8-43BB-B806-3B8D816100AD.jpeg85ECE4AE-5808-4E1F-96ED-92B0293ABEEC.jpeg

You lost me where shadows aren't natural. But i just was noticing that theres a lot of tweeked contrast added to most of the "fire fam" IG seed brands nowdays

I can't drop another cent on beans packaged with recreational logo art & shit. Ive got too much old shit to thaw and run. From when they had handwritten labels packed in little tiny crackrock ziplocks.

I’m saying are you using the sun? That’s the only true natural lighting. And even then certain techniques will cause them to come out better.

If you take a shot and your camera is blocking out the light like yours is it won’t take a good picture and will be dark in spots and bunch of shadows.

However if I took that same shot with a ring light attached to the camera and good side lighting and white box to bounce the lights off it will look awesome and you won’t have to change the settings of picture later.

What I’m saying is good lighting techniques with pictures won’t have shadows like that if you know what your doing. In a shot to show off your buds you want to show minimal amount of shadows and as much light as you can.

Yes photos can be tweeked and I’m sure some do change their settings like you say to show them better. However it can be achieved with a light box and proper lighting settings and no need to do all that catfish photo editing you speak of.

That’s why people who want good photos pay professionals to take pictures at weddings and events. Bc those people generally know how to maximize the lighting/settings and adjust the cameras settings to make them pop. Knowing how shutter speeds and aperture work are important as well as white background and tons of other things.

Same goes with macro and flower shots, both in marijuana and just nature things in general. Having someone who knows there way around a camera can make photos much more appealing without photoshop.
