Root rot in south Texas

Hi everyone,

I have been growing for 10+ years with no issues. I moved to Galveston, TX in about a year a go and since then I could not keep my plants healthy even in veg!! It is some sort of Root rot. I tried anything you can Imagine. root excelurator, hydroguard, real growers recharge, root protector, MYCO+, soil acidifier, etc in different pots, plants, tents and even rooms and neither one worked. H2O2 + kelp + rapid start helps a little bit and mother plants did not die but that's it. I tried ozone generator, UV lamps (for the room), new tent, pots, etc. I purchased a window air conditioner and kept the room temperature really cool with no success. I never over water, and don't add too much fertalizer. I tried organic soil, pure peat moss, coco, pure perlite, and recently hydroponics with same results:( I thought maybe my mother plants were too old (White russian, ak47 from serious seeds and betweein 2 - 3 years) so I let them go and purchased some new seeds (Afghan kush, Pakistan valley, Amnesia from WOS). They don't even grow! They stay in seedling stage for a few weeks and finally die because of the lack of roots.

PLEASE help! All opinions are appreciated.

It seems like you've tried everything possible and still you failed. That has to be a hard L to take. Bleach or Pool Shock is about all I could suggest. And some Root Riot plugs. I planted seeds two days ago, all of them sprouted and are now ready to be transplanted. 20 days is a very long time for anything aside from deep flower monster cropped clones.

Well shit I live in Texas. He should try brawndo. It has what plants crave. I think he at least figured it out if he reads his post and looks at picture when he said never over water. Looks like never waters. Must be from New Mexico.

You grow for 10+ years and you start seeds in this compacted shit peat lacking oxygen? Looks underwatered as well… growers error is my bet you had no need to trash your precious phenos.
lol this is the shit you mentioned:

Thank you for valuable suggestions. I will definitely try Bleach and Pool Shock ... I hope they work(: I forgot to add the cuttings from mother plants rooted with no issues. But as soon as I planted them in any medium, root rot attacked!

Are you sure it's root rot? If everything was fine before you moved then what's changed? What's the water like there?

Pun intended
What does pun intended mean?:wall:

This is why I mentioned South Texas:

I am not sure if it is the problem that I have...but it makes me scared. I grew for years in Maryland with 0 Issues and now I can't even keep a seedling alive.

"The pathogen is only active in the summer months when the high average temperatures can heat the soil microclimate one foot deep over 80 degrees Fahrenheit. "

Texas ads declare itself as a whole different country and my experience it is
Not America to me
Judges and cops run rural Texas

I do not know what to say you dude. You can blame it on me if it helps you but it definitely wont help your plant. Blaiming everything else but you wont help either. That “soil” may be just fine for seedlings but obviously not in your hands. BTW underwatering and overwatering can at the end result in same symptoms. Hopefully you will figure it out. Good luck!
