i browned up a couple of nice pork chops last night, with a little sage, tumeric, and cumin
then in the same pan i fried up a sweet potato, a white potato, a yellow onion, a carrot, an apple, and a hand full of raisin.
then i deglazed the pan with a little apple cider vinegar, added apple juice, dark brown sugar, chopped garlic, and a spoon full of apple butter
cooked it down till it was nice and clingy
let the pork chops simmer in that for about an hour
then tossed the veggies in the sauce, and added some peas cooked with real butter, minced onion, and a little mustard powder
practicing no salt cooking, the girl friend has high bp...
