Frank, did you defoliate them at all or is that just the way they grew? I'm with you on not giving a crap on how they look late in flower as long as the buds are swelling and ripening. I'm not trying to grow leaves, after week 6 of flower I'm not too concerned about the leaves at all other than as a tool to read the plants health. My bubba trouble has been in the jar for a couple weeks and has a nice potent kush smell with a sweet undertone. Potency is there but the runt that I let go a couple weeks longer until it had more amber trichomes has way more kick and body stone. Hopefully you'll be happy with your final results and that's what really matters.

Nitty, you should look at The Seed Bazaar for Daz' recent Night Owl V day drop. Got some good stuff. He's got a PRE 98' Bubba Kush x Skywalker, Mango Isle F2(Mango Smile x his Zamaldica Express), Mandela Effect... I'm about to stagger a 9 plant grow out of 2 liter sips. Got 1 started to see how she would start(Mephisto Jammy Dodgers), and going to get 4 more going in the next few days. Than when these 5 hit flower, I'll start 4 more. Been awhile since i done a 2 liter hempy, so decided id try a few sips in their place. She got a bit crispy on 1st set of leaves, but she's fine now. A bit compact, but having the Strawberry Nuggets in her lineage it's kind of expected. Also used paper bag to cover up the bottle as i didn't think to dig out a green one -_-View attachment 5088141

Have you done plants in sips this small before? I've done hempy in 2 litre bottle's and loved the compact size but I would have thought that in soil you might have problems with either salt buildup or being root bound. To be honest I've never thought about a sip this small until you showed it and I love the concept.

Ha. Soil!!! Coco and/or perlite here pal. Yes, i grew in a ball jar sip. The size that hold about an oz of buds. Grew nice. I will look for the pic.

I've gotten over 2 oz easily in coco 2liter hempy. Just thought with more room for roots in the sip, maybe i can get even better. Plus nutes/water might last longer than the lower rez in the hempy.

I use hempy for simplicity and ease of watering when I have to have surgeries which is common unfortunately. My wife can water them and I just mix nutes and keep an eye on the plants. I love the results though, just hate washing all that perlite...ugh.

Man, the best plant to date smell wise was Galexy Brain by Daz. It smelled like candy the whole time. So sweet and sugary.

You should try Night Owl Galaxy Brain. It is CRAZY sweet smelling. Huge grower and definitely a trippy kinda smoke. That's from him making auto Zamaldica from Ace Seeds Zamaldica. Seriously good Sativa right there.

I have a plant that is growing right now that will let me know if I got the proper mix of my living soil...

For mine, the buds look bigger in a photo than with the naked eye. But they sure still look purdy when I open the tent! Picture doesn't really do them justice overall though. But I suck balls at photos anyways.

True story. A plant can look huge and amazing in a pic but in real life be just mediocre. EVEN when you are trying to give an honest representation

Well bish ass Nitty, i put 4 Fast Buds Tangi'matics in rapid rooters this morning. Hope they all pop as i bought them in 19' or 20'. I had bought 5 packs of her, Blue Dreamatic and Zkittles, but all 5 of the BD crapped out on me. Few never germed and 1 was just a no grower, so culled her FAST. I also made these last night. HHC/CBG distillate(processed from CBD hemp plants). Not as good as traditional MJ, but a very good lighter substitute for daily/work/important functions. I've been dabbling in d8/10/thco/hhc for a few months now. Some good stuff to be had except the gov wants to control that now.

And even with living soil I still have the same problem... Except for the Bubba Trouble... And I know that I'm not the only one because someone else who I have talked to is going through this as well... I'm thinking that the soil mix wasn't right...
