Flowering nutes

Been using dynagro grow so far, switched to flower a week ago and am unsure about adding bloom. I’ve been doing half strength on grow so I’m thinking just add in half strength bloom? Unsure tho, if anyone has experience with dynagro grow/bloom I’d really appreciate any and all advice. Thank you in advance.

Definitely start with half strength then bump up from there. Already doing pro moves running veg nutes for the first week. :)

Beautiful plants!! They look more like 2 weeks in flower though to me? Are you counting from the day you flipped them to 12/12?

Thanks man. 12/12 started 7 days ago. Most of them aren’t showing sex at all, however two of them were showing preflowers before the flip. They’re bagseed so who knows, almost think those two may be ruderals, mind you this is my first grow so I honestly have no clue

Ruderalis is AutoFlower hopefully that isn't the case because they do poorly under only 12 hours of light, yield will be greatly diminished typically. They look female to me.

Do you check your PPM? I’ve never used grow but there is a slight difference when using foliage pro versus bloom so you might want to use a little more of the bloom to get the PPM where it needs to be. I’ve used Dyna Grow for the past decade. It’s the best IMO. Do you use their silica too?

Nice looking plants, btw.

Dyna has some of the most underrated nutrient recipes. My buddies dad has been using them for probably around 10 yrs himself and I remember always seeing the old bottles outside the shed going wtf are all these bottles for? lmao a decade later and I know he was growing that sticky green stuff. hahaha

Agreed. My brother in law owns the local hydro shop and we have used everything he sells. DG was by far the easiest and most cost effective. I’ve never had any issues.

My only (small) complaint is that it’s not very ph stable in a hydro system. FloraFlex is the only nutrient line I’ve found that is.

Thank you. Yes I’ve been using grow and protekt, starting to add bloom to the mix now. No ppm meter, I’ve just been doing half strength on every watering. Watering every 3-4 days on average.

Right on. They look nice and healthy so far. Just watch for purple stems because like I wrote, I always found the ppm to be slightly less than foliage pro, and unsure how it compares to grow.
I wouldn’t want those plants to be hungry.

Good luck!

Thanks! I’m actually considering running low strength grow along with my bloom, I’ve read where some have had good success doing a 1:1 ratio through flower. I’m thinking 1 grow 2 bloom with the added protekt could be beneficial. From what I’ve gathered they only made bloom because people kept requesting it, that grow was enough as itself for all stages. We aren’t plants though, so I’m just gonna follow them as best as I can. Here’s a pic from one of my girls tonight, don’t be shy she loves attention.

That’s what I do. I never stop using foliage pro until maybe the final two weeks that I’m feeding the plant. I start out 1:1 ratio and slowly add more bloom nutes while decreasing FP.

Did you hear the owner of DG make the claim that added P wasn’t necessary on that podcast? I’ve tried running only foliage pro through a plants life cycle and I can say that it can be done but I ran it next to a plant where I used bloom and mag pro and the added P plant had more yield and finished sooner.
