There was a tour where he also had clones of all the original Yabby U tracks and just did some heavy heavy stuff.

Also a big fan of the sort of Junjo era dancehall. Yellowman is a friend of mine though probably my all time favorite of that era is Charlie Chaplin.

Nice, yeah I did a lot of reggae shows in the late 90's into early 2000's. I did Mad Professor once or twice. Some of the more memorable shows I did were Bunny Wailer, Burning Spear, and Jimmy Cliff (got to give him a ride in my VW Bus, and have an autographed album from him handing on my office wall now). Ky-Mani Marley was the biggest reggae asshole I've ever worked with.

Are the leaves you remove a sink or a source? Usually new leaves are a source of energy for the plant, unless it is part of a sucker. Older leaves can become a sink once they begin to require more energy themselves than they are able to produce. Old faded leaves are a great example of this. It actually takes energy from the plant to break down these old leaves, more energy than they are able to produce, so you might as well get rid of them.

Then you haven't worked with Eek. You haven't truly lived until you've seen a performer menace a FOH engineer with a pistol that he pulled from his waistband. He didn't do anything like that to me, but he wasn't terribly fun to share a green room with.

I've sold weed to Mouse. MY FOH engineer was good at mixing reggae, so we didn't have that issue lol.

His road manager suggested its a 'bit' he does to frighten house crew. None of the other bands or performers I've either played with or crewed for have ever done anything like that.

I've never had a gun pulled out at a show, and I've worked over 5000 shows by this point. I was cornered in the box office by two road managers for punk bands once (dropkick murpheys & swinging utters) at settlement time, because they were refusing to pay a merch % and I was refusing to pay them out until they did. It was a tense moment, but I busted through them with the $6k cash under my arm, went to my office, locked myself in, and called my boss at 1am asking what I should do (I was real new at the time). He said, "oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that punk bands hate to pay merch %, so just give them their money." Glad that was the answer, because it was pretty close to becoming a fight.

I can agree to your boss' sentiment. I've been on the 'menacing' side of that equation in the past. I've never had real weapons issues either here in the eastern US or when I've played in the islands. Many places have metal detectors nowadays though. Even the dancehall stuff I've been involved with has been reasonably chill.

My co-worker used to tour with 2 Live Crew back in the 90s as a follow spot operator. They required him to wear a bullet proof vest up in the truss, in case anyone decided that target practice was a good idea.

I cloned the living shit out of this Charlotte's Angel & left only one tiny fan leaf, then put her out into the greenhouse to see what happened with absolutely NO expectations whatsoever, but continued to supply water & nutrients.

I'll be going back to defoliating only "when necessary" from now on.

I Mean you can still Defoliate heavily just you don't want to fully strip them or you usually will not get a good result at all. I strip from the top 2 nodes down with way better results. If you strip the plant top to bottom it won't have enough leaves to do its thing and you'll likely lose yield at that point.

The question is, is there a need for it?
IMO (past experiences), besides uncovering top budsites and lollipoping the bottom larf, anything further is "doable" but "uneeded".

It does make harvesting a lot easier/less messy though.
