Is Ukraine really going to fight?

I believe you're the one who doesn't understand what a libertarian is. Its quite fucking simple. It means I want to be left alone by the government. I want to smoke what I want, fuck who i want, marry who i want, decide what goes into my body and what does not, and I want the government to stay the fuck out of my paycheck as well. Quite simple.
You pursue a pipedream. The only way to be left alone by government is where there is none. For the rest of us, government exists to blunt the nonsense that comes from people ( such as you) who have not fully considered what freedom really is, and whose ideas are a drag on those of us who do.
Libertarianism as described in the US is hopelessly utopian. Underneath, it is a Trojan horse for the hard right authoritarians who have taken over the entire right wing in this nation.

You truly do not know what libertarianism really is until you identify it as a false flag operation by the antidemocratic forces who find the Republic to be an impediment to their ungoverned (!) greed.

Sure there has been. The redistribution is from the government to the shareholders. When corporations aren't sending 40% of there profits to the government who are they sending them to? The shareholders. The "evil greedy shareholders bro" . What liberals conveniently like to forget is that its not just billionaires that are shareholders. Average every day Americans are shareholders. Black and Brown people are shareholders. Im heavily invested in S&P 500 funds and my former employer (who was an s&p 500 listed corporation) was kind enough to match 6% of everything I put in. But corporations are evil? There are a lot of people who don't feel that way and its not because they're ignorant. Its just a matter of perspective.
40% to government? The tax law has investment income taxed less than regular income.

"The maximum federal tax rate on capital gains is 20% for assets held for more than 12 months. The graduated rates of tax apply to capital gains from assets held for 12 months or less. Non-resident aliens may not take advantage of head of household status or joint return rates.Feb 1, 2022"

  • Short-term capital gains tax is a tax applied to profits from selling an asset you’ve held for less than a year. Short-term capital gains taxes are paid at the same rate as you’d pay on your ordinary income, such as wages from a job.
  • Long-term capital gains tax is a tax applied to assets held for more than a year. The long-term capital gains tax rates are 0 percent, 15 percent and 20 percent, depending on your income. These rates are typically much lower than the ordinary income tax rate.

Go live on top of a mountain and you can have your way. If you live near society, live by society's rules. Somalia is quite free, you may want to look into it.

Pentagon mulls new way to arm Ukrainians if Russia invades
Sullivan said Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin wants the option of land routes over air delivery to provide Ukrainians with the lethal aid if Russia launches an attack, a House source confirmed to The Hill.
The Pentagon did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Austin will likely discuss the topic with his NATO leaders this week when he travels to Brussels and Eastern Europe. He is set to leave Washington on Tuesday to meet with senior military and government leaders in Belgium, Poland and Lithuania, and will also attend the alliance’s ministerial conference, Pentagon press secretary John Kirby told reporters on Monday.

The Biden administration, which has approved about $650 million of military equipment to Kyiv in the past year, is under immense pressure to rush security assistance to Ukraine as Russia has amassed more than 130,000 of its troops near its border.

More recently, the administration approved a $200 million package to Ukraine, which included “Javelin anti-tank missiles, other anti-armor systems, grenade launchers, munitions, and non-lethal equipment essential to Ukraine’s front line defenders,” the Pentagon said in a statement as the equipment was being delivered last month.

The U.S. has also allowed the Baltic states, including Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, to provide Kyiv with American-made anti-armor and anti-aircraft missiles.
In addition, the Pentagon has ordered 6,000 U.S. troops to deploy or reposition to Poland, Germany and Romania to help the NATO allies with respond to a possible Russian invasion that officials are warning could happen any day.

There's no way he's prioritizing his son's business interests over a frigging war with Russia. I'm not sure if you realize, but the more wild claims like this are, the only way they become plausible to someone is via projection, as in, "...because that's exactly what I would do".

I should do more with the money I have in a couple of bank accounts, foolish just having it sitting in them. But I probably have more than you, I have a feeling much more.

Ahhhhh the American sickness, where money is the reference of truth. The sky is pink and I have more money, therefore it's true. Might as well arm wrestle over it like a grunting gorilla.
How would you measure success in life? I'm genuinely curious. Because you're absolutely right I gauge mine by income. They say money doesn't buy happiness and I fully believe that....but it sure the fuck helps!!

We definitely have some corporatocracy elements, but none of this is binary. Have you ever lied? Then you must be a bad person to your core. Right? No, you're not. In reality, life is far more complex than that. What you said reads the same as, "I love meth".

Well, you're looking pretty damned shallow with bank account dick waving. You sound young though, and you can't shortcut through life. Gotta be shallow for a while before you're able to see it.
