Black Strap MolassesWhat is BSM?
I was wondering about what kind of cheap ppm soil meter you were talking about. And you were talking about pH/moisture meter. You wont get reliable measurements out of this thing, so forget about pH for some time. What about your source water? Is that calmag necessary? You might be locking out magnesium and potassium with excesive dose of calcium… BTW flushing your peat based medium will only cause leaching your lime away leaving even more acidic medium behind.Grabbed a cheap 3way soil probe.
She was fed late yesterday. Readings this morning:
Moisture - 9 out of 10
Less than 6PH at about 5.8 or so. (acidic)
That is about all I can do.
What would be the suggested fix for such a low PH & is this a PH lockout?
Ran a slurry test. 1/1 ratio tap water to soilAll your leaf tips are down indicating your nutrient problem is likely from to high of a charge. You probably need less not more. Your plant may be drinking water and ignoring food because it ppm is 2 high. When that happens the problem gets worse. Less water same nutrients so ppm goes up even higher. Also if the nutrients are not being taken up as soil dries you basicly have salts left from nutrients. Those salts 1 are in the way of the plant eating. 2 they will partially re-dissolve but be locked up with other things and still not be available to the plant affecting the ec/ppm of anything you feed.
Google slurry test and test your soil ph
It is on my uppers.Calcium deficiency is the most over diagnosed problem lol. Calcium is an immobile nutrient. That means it will first appear in the very newest growth. There is no deficiency that I'm aware of that causes those brown spots on older leaves like that. In my opinion it is blight. Either from disease/pathogen/fungus/insect. Also some clear nutrient deficiency that you would expect in older growth such as magnesium and phosphorus.
Fucking great. I have noticed some gnats or Flys at the soil level. Overwatering?I still stand by my diagnosis. Those leaves are not new growth. Very common blight. You'll see the same thing in tomatoes. Calcium is directly involved in fruit production and cannot be transported from the lower leaves to help the new growth. You would see it in your buds if it was truly calcium deficiency.
I've never grown it soil bro so i can't really call it on the over watering. But if its a disease you have to throw out that soil and sanitize everything hardcore and hope it doesn't come back. I'm not saying its a disease, but it could be. Theres a hundred things that it could be. I saw a guy on YT who's plants started to look like that and he realized ot was because he accidentally fed them bleach.Fucking great. I have noticed some gnats or Flys at the soil level. Overwatering?
also i still think everyone is right that they're underfed... And cal-mag definitely isnt going to hurt. What's your RH?Fucking great. I have noticed some gnats or Flys at the soil level. Overwatering?
RH 45 Temp 78Falso i still think everyone is right that they're underfed... And cal-mag definitely isnt going to hurt. What's your RH?
