3x3 Tent Setup

For the extra minuscule ammount I would buy the 6 inch fan from ac infinity with their controller 67, that’s what I’m about to rock in the same space, the 6 inch coped well with 660w of led but I’ve found that if u can keep 6 as ur max speed on the ac infinity fans then u can barely hear them running
I was just looking at the 6"s seconds ago! Then came hear to ask about the A6 vs T6. Obviously the price of the A6 is better. But I wasn't sure how to actually compared to the T6. I'd I go A6 I'd buy the digital controller to. Ultimately the price would be around $120 (A6+ Control) vs the $150 (T6).

6" is overkill for a 3x3 but you seem to be set.

I’ve found it easier to control the room the tents in than it is the tent itself so if I were you I’d go with a6 and run it constant. I use cheaper fans, but that’s how I do it.

the controllled ac infinity’s do look like they’d be dope in drying setup though.

Unfortunately, the tents in a garage and controlling that is going to be a little more challenging then the tent itself.

Definitely not set at all. Still weighing out options honestly. One of my factors leaning towards 6" currently is my hood. Has 6" ports.
your air cooled hood isn’t the same as your exhaust. Just put a cheap booster fan($20-$30) on there and duct through the tent. cool air in and through from. Separate exhaust fan, any 4” 200ish cfm fan will do.

So you recommend me boost cooling the fan closed and running a 4" for tent cooling? I already own an Inline duct booster, can definitely do that. Wasn't sure if I could run an open hood and pull from my hood, naww mean?

Definitely run it closed, I have burned more than a few tops having em stretch into the bulb.
I've always based it off the season for me. Summers I'd run I'd closed to control the heat @ canopy. Winter I run open for the heat. Right now it's open. For the tent I'll close it for the heat control.

6 inch ac infinity will run around speed 5 and be virtually silent, when paired with controller 67 you can set high and low point triggers, min and max speeds, control both temp and humidity dynamically,

often the problem isn’t the temperature but the humidity and having a larger fan paired with a heat source can keep your conditions optimum.

less noise and more stable parameters for a little bit more money is a no brainer for me

the difference between the t series fans and the others is not the fan itself but it’s controller, get the cheaper one and buy the controller 67 separate and use the app on ur phone, controller mounts on ur tent, really slick, ergonomic design to everything can’t rate them highly enough to be honest

I love my T4 with 67 controller but probably would go with the T6 next time as sound is an issue for me. BTW, they have new control coming that will run the fans, their new clip fans and their lights.

PS, my T4 came with the 67 controll, they are "transitioning" to it on the T series.

I didn’t know they were now doing the 67 controller with the t series fans, previously they’ve included a temp/humidity controller that looks almost identical to the 67 but without all the features. Good to see them listening to customers suggestions.

yeah I seen that, controller 76? It only works with 110v atm though which is no good for us brits. Apparently it will turn on and off heaters, dehumidifiers and humidifiers too. Putting all these controls on one app too. Slick, really slick. As soon as they become available over here I’ll be getting one and ditching the inkbirds that control my heater dehumidifier and humidifier.

Thanks all for the help!!
An odd question, purely aesthetic... do the wrinkles on the tent eventually go away? Assuming humidity will play a factor in that when its up and running. Tent arrived yesterday, set it up in its home and just putting together the odds and ends.

Going to do 2 - G13 Labs Auto Froyo

I got the T4 with 67 control for under $100 on ebay. The listing had a contradiction and I didn't know what control I was getting. No part numbers at all on the control but I finally determined it was the 67. I called and they said they are "transitioning" to the 67. My guess is they started shipping with the 67 and they didn't say anything as there are still T4's on shelves with the older UNC529.

The controls DO look identical except the 67 has a gear/settings symbol on the right button and the old UNC529 has a leaf. I never even saw that part number until very recently, they did a good job of making things confusing.

The new control is 69 and uses USB-C connectors rather than Molex. I wonder if fans etc, will be available with with the 69 control?

I'll be picking up the fan from my local hydro store in a couple days. It comes with the dumb smart controller. They also sell the 67, I'm going to see if they will buy the dumb one, and give me a discount on the 67 as a friendly face deal. Lol
You might want to buy an S series fan with the simple speed control and get the new 69 control with wi-fi, in a couple months.
