are you guys as regulated as CO? i'm not commercial but they basically make them track it from seed to harvest. with bar codes and shit.

Yep.. seed to sale tracking, GPS tracking, monthly reporting of clones, seedlings, mature, dry material, drying material, how much waste, sold, destroyed, etc. ... some of those monthly report questions are stupid as hell.... "how much weight is your dry product that you have on hand for the month of Jan?"....... Im like "Jan 1st or Jan 28th?".... sometimes we just make shit up because that weight is going to change every damn day it's drying.

Im tryin' brother! I've spent all day cleaning, scrubbing everything I can find in the grow. Paige is balls deep in a mountain of paperwork making sure we're compliant.

Then P.T. Barnum was right, a sucker is born every minute. I would use a 1/4" barbed Tee and 18" of 1/4" drip irrigation hose; cost would be less than a quarter.

Because I like helping people not waste their money on overpriced junk. I just ordered enough T's and hose to make 50 of these for the price of one of the rain rings. Nobody has to take my advice; I'm all about personal sovereignty.

Good info!.. one thing I had thought about was using a flex hose to feed the PVC center pipe., similar to what I've currently been using for the past few years (I change it out once a year).. but, I think it would be better than hard hose. Flex hose has sort of a built in pressure regulation. ... or at least a larger margin of error, and can help keep the pressure down. I think my best bet on this setup would be to turn the pump on, and then go around and set the valves to drip at each site. Once saturated, go to the next tray and do the same thing. It'd sure be nice to just turn on valves sites and go do other things for a while.

Not w/ cannabis, and not close to 50% relatable to your exact layout but…. I’ve had similar garden settups I rigged myself.
Avoid trying to do low flow rate at high-ish psi, it won’t take much to give you just enough of a headache in dialing everything “perfect”, for sure enough to question why you had a problem with hand watering and micro-managing each plant that way.
It’s first a bitch to dial, especially if you have differing demands for a/few plants. It gets compounded if your garden/grow is subject to a lack of climate control. Think you can just dial up the timer a bit a maintain that balance you had?… monitor it carefully at first if you do change that pump/valve timer.
In regards to mentioning the pipe size chart, good-excessive supply line size is good, especially gravity fed systems or low head-pressure (psi) systems, but… at the same time you don’t want 2-3” dia segments of pipe in a 6-plant system, and it’s fluid-holding capacity to plan and take into consideration (not to mention a bitch to flush or avoid settlements).
I’m watching this thread closely, planning something for my outdoor grow this spring (gotta go outa town for 3 weeks), and hope to transition that “rig” to my first dable at outdoor hydro/coco later… maybe this summer. I really like the look of these drip rings. A first for this irrigation project I’m visioning is I want the supply lines and emitters to drain out as much as possible, maybe put in an anti-siphon or air gap to do so. Two questions I have is should I add an air stone or second circulation/stirring pump to my “tank”? This from what I’ve read has mixed opinions. Second question is I’m pondering the benefits of adding a second “tank” as a flush for the system/plants, it could even be tap water (which ain’t bad)… anyone w/ much experience on that front? (considering outdoor/small-greenhouse)

I literally can't get over the price of the ones bk posted, they're purpose made and still dirt cheap?
I've tried looking for them in the UK but all I can find is a similar item to rain rings costing £12

For a fully pressurised system to deliver the same to each feed you’d be better creating a delivery ring around your plants.
White is delivery ring and black is the feed to each plant.
