Why get all worked up about a bill that can only be considered symbolic until the Senate has 60 democrats seated inside? The SAFE act has passed the House 5 times, and the MORE act passed again last Dec. Congress needs to get off their asses before anything will happen, and with all the "old guard" in place being fed the "evil demon weed" BS for 50 years, don't see much happening anytime soon unless a bolt of lightning hits their head and they have an epiphany.
It's not going to happen. But thank you for your concerns. We have at least two more years of depredation by the DEA on small time dealers. You can rest easy.I’m more concerned about who’s funding Schumer to push this act. Who benefits from decriminalized weed? Sure it might keep some folks out of prison but most smokers don’t get caught and as many states have proven most people are either too lazy or too unsure of their abilities to grow and are just happy with shit weed from a dispensary, that is likely contaminated or riddled with bugs and disease.
Nationeide legal weed allows big business to get involved and once that happens shit weed, diseases and pesticide issues will beon the front.
Agree, but for republicans to even consider it there is something going onIt's not going to happen. But thank you for your concerns. We have at least two more years of depredation by the DEA on small time dealers. You can rest easy.
It will never pass because Republicans will block it. The Republican Party doesn't have a platform to refer to, just the one written 8 years ago because Trump can't plan his way out of his own room any more. BUT, when they had one it clearly stated they are opposed to any legalization of weed.Agree, but for republicans to even consider it there is something going on
It's not the Senate where the problem is, it's passed the Senate 5 times, its Congress who shelves it and let's it sit without voting on it.Why get all worked up about a bill that can only be considered symbolic until the Senate has 60 democrats seated inside?
The symbolism is fine. Just don't expect it to go anywhere. vote Republicans out.

I'm far from worked up, I started my 1st crops in corn fields many many moons ago, when it was highly illegal, and have been growing ever since. It just helps that I live in a state where it's "legal". Growers nowadays can actually discuss things in the open, and not hush hush behind closed doors. I could really care less if the Feds legalize it or not, I'll still be growing like I have been for many years.
I remember growing up getting my ass kicked by my dad for coming home smelling like weed. It's not the Senate where the problem is, it's passed the Senate 5 times, its Congress who shelves it and let's it sit without voting on it.

I’m not cryingI remember growing up getting my ass kicked by my dad for coming home smelling like weed.
Now he is growing outdoors on his land.
Shit changes, why cry that people are trying to make it legal on the federal level?
Help me understand. There is native plant THC, and then there is THC from conversion of native plant CBD. How is the latter poison?More proof that the more they regulate the more they corrupt and poison it, cheap imported hemp and synthetic THC, a twofer, make more money and turn a healing plant into poison.
THC converted from hemp may soon compete with marijuana in Michigan
A process that converts compounds in hemp cannabis that don't get you high to synthetic compounds that do, may be soon be legal in Michigan.www.mlive.com
I think I'll stick to growing my own. I'm definitely not going to be ingesting any of these unregulated products. Others likely don't care what's in them and that's their choice.Chemists sound alarms over delta-8-THC craze
