How’s it going guys, so I have 3 Mephisto Double grape. I started using organic nutrients and growers recharge when flowering. I’ve seen around that by about week 4-5 you can cut off the organic nutrients as it should give the plant time to fade. However I’m noticing rust spots on lower growth I’m not sure if this is a Cal/Mag deficiency but I’ve only used the Dr earth bloom 3-9-4. The biggest looks around week 5, the initial feeding shut off point but she has a few rust spots Or do you think they look good for the most part until harvest?

Definitely looks like cal or mag deficiency. That’s about when it shows up for me too, but idk for sure.

What do you mean “feed shut off point”??

that plant needs to eat for another month or two.

It' s a Cal mag on the big one the others are doing ok as far a mag but you have a light leak somewhere and if you are truly doing organic you won't use bottle cal mag but a little sea 90 or seawater with a little calcium phosphate to achieve what you want. with organic you don't need to stop feeding, just the salts in about week 6 on a 9-week plant and you look like you have at least a 9 weeker if you're saying you're at 5 weeks. Calcium Phosphate is backed eggshells and dissolved in vinegar. I'm a few beers in hope this helps.

Recently had what I considered rust spots with the consensus being rust fungus or a cal/mag thing. It was neither.

It was the beginnings of spider mites. Check under some leaves with magnification.

Don't stop feeding your plants in flower. They need to eat.
I actually didn’t top dress (because it hadn’t come in yet) until about week 3 which Was about a week and a half ago and I see everywhere it’s takes 2 weeks to break down but to also stop using around week 6 so they can use up the nutrients in the medium?

I thought around week 6 you shouldn’t really too dress anymore to allow the plant time to use up the rest of the nutrients in the medium?

What medium are you using? I only ask because your girl... is tiny. I know genetics are a factor but 5 weeks of flower? And I never stop feeding. This was beginning week 5 for my Red HotCookies

Love the RHC look, just got a hold of those myself.

I’m guessing based on the plant size and bud size that they were flipped before mature and so didn’t flower right away.

These are actually auto flowers and they did flower pretty early around week 2-3 I also germinated in paper towels which could’ve caused a stunt

I may be a little earlier than week 5 I top dressed with 3-9-4 a week and a half ago. The medium
Im I’m is FFOF which generally has a lot of nutrients so I didn’t start feeding until flower. These are also autos which I germinated in a cup of water and then into paper towels that’s could’ve stunted them especially the smallest one.

I might give that a look I was hearing a lot about dolomite lime as well I’d rather stay organic as possible but I’ll have better preparation for my next organic grow as this is about the healthiest I’ve ever been able to get my plants. I should’ve tracked my flower week being that trichome ripeness determines if the plant is ready I figured it didn’t matter until I’m confused on which week of flower each plant is actually in.

If you're going to do organic gardening there is book that has helped me out a lot, it's by Dr. Cho JADAM Korean Natural Farming this book changed me. If you read this book, it will explain balance within the soil and what the plant and soil need and when they need it how to build your inputs and culture microorganisms. It takes a little time to apply these things but when you start to understand that we create most of our own problems you will be able do more with less. Without good fundamentals and a good philosophy, you will continue to create problems I wouldn't write this if I didn't think it so important. Will also save you money and you weed will taste better but it takes some work.

She went hungry for about 2 weeks. I got hurt and couldn't tend them the way they deserved. But she pulled through my depressive funk and is gorgeous!

Yours look good man I’ll get the yield out those 3 photo seedlings to make up for these small autos. I’m actually around week 3-4 on my biggest girl I should definitely top dress 2 weeks following my initial one? Or 3 weeks? Or is a week apart enough for a difference

I've run a couple autos that just stayed small. Could you have stunted them? Yep. Did you? Don't know could just be the ruderalis coming through

Full disclosure. I grow in coco. Using both synthetic nutes and some organics. And I'm testing out a very simple care schedule on 5 girls right now. Here is one tester and R.H.C.
tonight. The gallon jug is just for size reference(thought you were saying I had small buds, then I re read it)
