UK growers? Prepayment costs ? Advice

I get the same as a local government bin man, I work in a local high school as the IT guy (tech support) I’m the only one looking after nearly £500k of equipment ffs.

I’m currently going through job evaluation which when done should see my salary scale top out £5k higher than I am on now.

if I don’t get the evaluation or Salary that should be correct then I’ll go and do 4on 4off 12 hour nights in a local factory for £30k a year with no responsibility.

I started out on Schools tech support. I fucked off when they started employing teachers in technical roles on protected salary grades. So they had less qualifications than me in this field and were paid £20k more. I walked when I was talked down to, as I was a mere manual worker, and I was having to fix their fuck ups.

I actually went into security systems in local government. Got made redundant and now I work as a self employed delivery driver for a Florist. I was fixing computers as a side line, but no one will pay for it.

My last ever computer job was for a posh old dear. She phoned me with a laptop with ransom ware. She had full cloud backups and all the software licences. Took the model number and it was an 8 year old Fujitsu. I told her that it would be cheaper to buy a new one. She gave me a lecture about make do and mend, so I took the job. A basic reinstall and restore. She also wanted me to return it to the house, install this ancient printer and scanner and connect it to the wifi. It was something like 8 hours work with travelling time and mileage. Imagine her disgust when I asked her for £260. The first sentence out of her husband's mouth was "It would have been cheaper to buy a new one". He refused to pay and called me a con artist, luckily I record all of my business calls and played him the bit where I told her just that and she insisted it be repaired. Never again.

The whole time while not actually being in front of a computer.

I've a 3" 500gb external hard drive that's packed in, I've a lot of photos of my kids, fishing, growing, music etc, from what I can tell the actual hd is OK its the electronic around it that's failed.

Would it be possible to use a computer mother board to plug the HD into to retrieve the photos etc?

simply remove your hard drive from the enclosure and plug this into your hard drive and the both USB’s into your laptop etc.

Our laws are older than most countries and this give us the people certain powers and protection. With these changes, we become nothing more than cattle with no voice or power. Every one needs to look into it on the .gov website and have their say. We are worth so much more than this.

Looking dapper mate, i remember the january harvest as think ours more or finished around the same month, i’ve got 10 white widow seeds there and 10 skittles auto. Ready to go just need to decide on set up. Was thinking to start all 10 autos and one or two white window, by the time the autos done i should have two decent size white widow and was thinking taking cuts of one to fill a tent and then flower the two in another.

it’s the costs with the current hike in utilitys i deleted my last post about pre payment meter, little cautious on what to put on here for ovbious reasons

Looking dapper mate, i remember the january harvest as think ours more or finished around the same month, i’ve got 10 white widow seeds there and 10 skittles auto. Ready to go just need to decide on set up. Was thinking to start all 10 autos and one or two white window, by the time the autos done i should have two decent size white widow and was thinking taking cuts of one to fill a tent and then flower the two in another.

I did notice lol.

I’m just happy running my single light and then switching on the 200w CFL to get an early Headstart in the walk way.

will be cloning a couple off each of the BG41’s as they’re numbered 1 and 2 for reference so that I can root them on the shelf under 24w T5. Then when needed they can go back under the 200CFL until the main room finishes. Kind of rinse and repeat scenario if I want to run the same BG41’s again after they’re finished etc.


won’t be long now. Maybe end of next week snip some clones, clean up anything that won’t amount to much on the big girls and then switch to 12/12.

Continue a bit of tucking during the stretch for 7-10 days or until I notice stretch slowing down.

Do you ever flip the mother plant in to flower then take you’re cuts then revert mother plant back in to its normal veg cycle, i heard or read these are classed as super clones and the hormones present in plant just induced to flowering are present in the cuts so they take off pretty strong and end up sort of boosted. I used to keep mothers (for years I’ve been from seed everytime).

it’s only this time with having the LED that I was able to use my walkway (hidden corridor) in the bedroom with the old adjust a wing reflector from the HPS setup.

these 2 below are now in the main room in the scrog.


What I plan to do is take clones from the plants in the scrog (these are the only plants I have going)

then before inducing flowering I’ll take clones and place them on my propagation shelf to root.

then when Needed I can pop them under the 200w as seen above, to veg while the main room flowers.

if they veg too long I can either trim them back or just clone them again etc.


there won’t be a mother plant only a clone taken before inducing flowering each time.
