One plant smells different from others

Hi! I was wondering if anyone might be able to give me insight into this problem.

I’m wrapping up a batch of Nothern Lights. I was checking the color of the trichomes the other day and noticed that one of the plants smells very different from the others. I’m not sure how to describe the smell exactly. It’s strong and perhaps chemically or diesel-y.

Anybody know why this is and how I can avoid it in the future? Thanks in advance!

Take a mother and run her clones so that you're working with the same phenotype?

I had 10 cheese seeds from the same breeder. Most of them are different lol, i was like ok hmmm time to take clones rather if i want to harvest around the same time. We live and we learn

OP.. I talk about this in my grow journal. Im trying 2 new strains along with a 3 year pheno. You can see in the video I posted a few days ago how different phenos within a strain can be. Some of them, Im just flat out pissed about. ... but, I gotta finish them.
