I checked the runoff of my supersoil in the first watering.
6400ppm
After a few it has gone down to about 5400ppm.
As for the OP and the other newbie...it is true that this is a harsh and in some ways juvenile-acting group. Many will make fun if you ask a true newbie question. You show who you are in what you ask. Then when you respond that the answers dont fit with what you know (or see elsewhere), you....
Dont stop and consider your perspective may be off. These guys might just save you $1000s and save you years of struggling with nutrients....
Because you are focusing on an important but relatively easy to dial in aspect of growing and making it the centerpiece of your discussion.
To translate - sometimes we must suffer a little, even if it is just learning a little humility, to advance to a greater level of applicable knowledge.

Yet if you read enough threads like we have, you already know what most people use AND WHY.
The correct reaction to the responses should be....WHOA that flies in the face of what Capulator and other sites have said. I wonder why this place sees things differently? Is Capulator better than 1000 growers who include people who pioneered training methods? Who created a repeatable supersoil recipe that works? Do you really think there arent preople here who can and have grown with results matching the best in the world?
Ignorance can be fatal. Dont let your own emotional response to things you didnt expect to hear stop you from getting better at this. I never argue here because there isnt much to argue. It is a learning site, imo.
