Best carbon filters

Take a couple apart and there is very little difference between well known filters at all.

I realize its an investment that probably pays for itself over time, but from what little research I have done, AC infinity carbon filters are $70-80 where as the Phresh and mountain air brand filters run closer to $300. Guess I need to start looking into refillable filters aswell...

The cheap AC infinity filters remove enough odor to make it not smell like weed. It often smells like pancakes and maple syrup in my grow room outside the tent when the inside smells dank.

One big reason I’ve been refilling mine is I couldn’t see wasting all that perforated Stainless.

what type of carbon? There’s many types, some better than others. The stuff I bought at the pet store for aquariums lasted about a month or two

Just ordered a Phat 6"x24" to replace a Can-Lite that didn't last 6 months. Cannot find Phresh available anywhere - are they even around anymore?

Of course, duh, but Amazon is out, and their shipping is bad anyway (read reviews: dents, no outer box, no gift option, etc). Other sources I've used, local shops, and the usual suspects say no stock, or they simply aren't listed anymore. Ebay has only ridiculous prices for the size ($288 ). Phat was on sale at growace, shipping was not terrible to east coast. Seems to be about the same thing as the phresh, and the best value. Guess I'll find out.

After a closer look i only see the 6 x 24 on amazon for $230 and a few on ebay. Something is up, clicking products on their web page yields an error message... "Sorry, An Error Occurred"

I rolled the dice and bought a used 4" off ebay. It's ok, but I wonder how much life is left. There's a couple new 8 x 24 for $125.....
