2 Mars Hydro TS1000 + Mars Hydro 1 SP 150 / or FC 3000 ? 5x5 ( Mars Hydro Users Opinions :)

What's up brother and sisters, this is my first post, and I hope I can learn and support please to meet you all..well it happens that I been struggling to make a decision to a new upgrade needed for my 5x5 set up, I'm currently running 2 Mars Hydro TS1000, which where blasting off in my previous smaller tend, however in the 5x5 I'm pretty sure my babies ain't getting all they wish for, there for I wanted to add an extra support in the middle and I was debationg over adding a SP 150 ( due to its convinient rectangular shape that can be placed in the middle ) or a FC 3000, the walled always pays a part, but I'm also wondring if I'll then be adding an access of light blasting all 3 led at max with 2 TS1000 and a FC 3000 on 5x5? However we all love huge nugs as well at a little more commitement, thats why I'm wondering from a light potency point of view, some suggestion to add to the current set up, pricing difference now running about 100 between the two, I'm wonding if adding a SP 150 can do the job or should I opt to extent full out for a FC3000? any other opitions brands lights are all welcome, I thank you all so much for reading and any suggestions would be great!

I dont think either of those will put you where you want to be. Personally id want about 1000 watts in a 5x5.

I'd look at the FC-6500 or the FC-8000 for that tent if you want to stick with Mars Hydro. Medic Grow if you want some cheaper options. You'll love the coverage from bar lights.

I prefer LED. I unfortunately am on a fixed budget so i have to go with budget lights like mars hydro. If i had the funds, i would probably go with a growers choice, Horticulture Lighting Group (HLG), timber grow lights, one of the higher end lights.

I feel you same here, thats why I'm trying to stick with Mars Hydro , thanks for you suggestion on the other brands, definately will note it down if i'll ever have the chance to get my hands on one! Props thanks alot!

Thanks brother, indeed got my eyes on those just can't reach it with the wallet yet, i think i went a little over size on 5x5, will make a good decision to fix it up nice !

Yes the FC8000 , one hell of a led, man i need to make some cuts and saving, your right perhaps adding another support light i'm just extending the problem, and will end up with to many spare parts once ill do the proper upgreade ...

Friend of mine runs a 4x4 with 2 of the tsl 2000s, he gets ok results. He just pulled 1.5 pounds off 3 plants with that set up.

you know what that might just do the trick, I'm just a heavy stoner, such will do the needs, if the coverage is good then I shall advance with getting one to support finishing this harvest and buy onether one for the next so ill be in pole position with them 2 TSL 2000 your suggesting, man i think you might have just enlightened me!

Im no expert by any means, i just take what ive physically seen work and apply it myself. Seems to work out decently for me in the end.

I would add the FC3000 and only have a 4x4 canopy. I belive that would put you at 650 watts which isn't enough to cover a 5x5.

The last grow i did in my 5x5 I had two 220 watt boards, two 110 watt boards and a 315 watt cmh.

You can try regular LED light bulbs. This requires a little DIY, but can't be beaten in $ per Watt. The LED bulbs are surprisingly efficient, it comes close to a budget light like the Mars Hydro.
Covers need to be sawed off the bulbs for maximum efficiency. The rest is just basic wiring, drilling holes and mounting sockets. Obviously not advised if you don't feel confident working on some basic electric installations.

Expect to pay at most $0.50 per Watt that way, so you can easily get 500W for less than $250 (that would be 40-50 light bulbs, so quite a bit of assembly work).

Can be build flexibly into bars.

I think to fill a 5'x5' tent to the brim you'd reasonably need at least 800W LED.
