150 + CFL vs 250 watt hps

Currently I'm running a 150w hps and 2 42w cfl spirals in my flowering closet, and get okay yields from 2 plants at a time. I'm thinking of getting a 250w hps, but wonder if it would be worth it. I have two issues: yield and heat. Is there a big difference in size or weight of buds under 250 vs 150? Also, my closet is not ventilated, and heat has been an issue. Last summer temps got over 90. It's not so bad now that winter is coming...I've started to run the lights at night and it gets between 72 and 79 degrees in there, depending upon the outside temps. Would 250w push this up much higher?

you must keep the closet doors wide open if you've no vents. and a fan blowing on the tops of plants or you'll heatstress the sh#t out them.

Oh yeah...I guess I should mention that I have a small fan for a bit of air circulation. Also, I measure the temps from a probe that clips to the top of the tallest plant. I figure that'll give me the most accurate measurement of the kind of heat the plants receive.
