Where should I move?

I think I want to move. Not much a fan of winters any longer. Or more like dont enjoy driving in snow with idiots that ain't got much practice the last couple years. Everyone I know has either moved or doesn't leave their house. So, where to? My stipulations for your entries…. Has to be mmj or full rec. I would like the climate to get cold in the winter but not snow. As so with the swimming pools, I can still get laid off for a couple months and travel. Don't think I'm interested in big metropolises. I think that's about it.

Parts of Virginia are nice...They have winter but rarely get snow. I have about a dozen old friends that moved there from NY, all when we were younger, and most of them settled in or around Williamsburg.

I use to visit every spring, but have not since Covid. Busch Gardens is there too, plus Colonial Williamsburg, and other attractions.

With all the climate issues it might end up being Alaska :(
I think so many places are rapidly changing that it isn’t possible to choose in the US at this time
We certainly do get less snow than I remember as a kid. With our first and only being just last week. So I agree. But shit even one time snow was enough. People around here were always bad drivers but it's got ridiculous the past 2 years.

I have been to that Busch Gardens yes. I remember it was the dead of summer and hot as fuck. With no shade. I think Virginia is pretty much the same climate as here.

The Mojave beckons. By now my posts celebrating this place will have moved you.

Possibly 180 away at unsafe speed.
