I would imagine most of the new growers are younger. Whats ur goal? To grow fire or produce lots of bud? What breeders are you going to or running clones from the shop? Just curious what its like now a days just starting out. With so much information now i am curious what new growers go to for info and that? Ive been doing this awhile so thinking how far its come from then. Any of you newer growers feel like answering that would be cool. I want to start a co sulting biz here in Montana and any input i can get from anyone on here would be great.
Have a dank day everybody.

Nice

Nice it is very theraputic and self rewarding to go from seed to harvest and then doing with whatever it is you like. Hopefully your at ease in a legal state. Before it was legal one was never at ease. How many harvest have you got through if you dont mind asking?
I'm in Aus, so not legal to grow or smoke in my state, but there's bigger issues for them to chase. Hasn't ever been on my mind really. I'm blessed with a lack of anxiety, as I walk around daily with a joint in public. I find if you have zero shame, noone notices or cares.

I've had two outdoor harvests over two years, and 5 autos indoors over 3 runs. Started growing indoors last year in Feb/March and started outdoor in 2020. The humidity and rain pushed me indoors.

I enjoy the plant on many levels. It is beautiful.

New-ish at this point, got a few harvests under my belt, learned a few hard lessons recently. I'm only starting my 3rd year, Even though I seem to be the guy my friends call in a panic. I tried winging it in crap soil, failed horribly. Hung it up for a few months. Got a couple books, read them cover to cover, twice. I still have them on hand for reference. I need to look into some IPM books...I went from know nothing to know a little and dove into the deep end. At one point, 9 individual Deep Water Culture cells. Drove myself batty fighting Ph multiple times a day, obsessing over nutes, and shitty lights. I got 5 or 6 girls to harvest before my blood pressure said find another way. Found coco and I like it but I'm still obsessing over nutes. Here recently I've been testing out a one shot full cycle two stage slow release fertilizer(damn that's a mouthful!) and I'm loving it! It's only been 2.5 weeks since transplant and the difference between what I'm used to seeing and this is staggering. Real Grower's "Grow Dots" and Recharge have smoked GH "Lucas Formula" and Recharge. Sorry for the book, but you asked. Newer grower, not a younger grower, I'm 41. I still remember how to use a card catalogue! Oh!

Love the bags. Would have never thought to use them. Might consider it now. I'll challenge you to a department store grow off one day

The bottom pic has some beautiful hues.
I've noticed this more with organics but it's probably unrelated. Does the bottom have any Kush/OG heritage? I've noticed that leaf composition on my OG Kush and GG auto which had Kush lineage.

Your absolutely right with the color and the organics. When the plants allowed to do what it does naturally they get those nice colors. Jacking them up w the salt based nutes trying to keep them green isnt natural to the plant. Theres still nutrients in the pot but that plant knows its life cycle is about over.

Answer to ur second question its a strain called cheesequake. Exodus cheese crossed with Querkle as the male. Which @ the time was thought to be purple urkle crossed with spacequeen but later found out the querkle was indeed most likely a lavender which is an afghany skunk hawaiian cross. Afghanys do get purple and you will find many plants will get a purple, reds, maroon, blue even with organics. Its not always a temperature thing either as my flower room doesnt get below 60 F.
