Hi everyone. Thanks for being here. I just got my 3'x3'x72" vivosun tent, and a 6" ac infinity carbon filter and exhaust fan. I am waiting on my mars hydro fc4500 to arrive.
My closet is approx 5'x5'. The ceiling of the closet is open to my bedroom. I have a attic opening right above the grow tent and an ac vent nearby.
So, i was origionally going to run the exhaust through the attic access door show, but if you stand back in the room you will be able to see the 6" vent hose. Not good. Then i thought i could just vent into the wall to the right of my tent low enough that you cant see the vent hose from a distance. Is it safe to vent into the wall? The other side of that wall is my bathroom, but i wouldnt vent through that wall, just into the closet wall between the drywall.
I live in a condo with neighbors on the otherside of the wall on the back of the tent. I do have a good size carbon filter so smell should be fine i hope.
Another option is to just let the exhaust run into the closet as it. The top if the room is open. Then i would create a opening on the far left wall with a 4" ac infinity exhaust fan to bring cool air into the tent from my bedroom. I am not sure how efficient that would be. I live in a warm climate but the ac stays between 68 and 71 degrees.
I will know more once i get my light installed how warm the tent will ve, but maybe you can see a great solution to where i can get the hot air out.
Thank you in advance.
