If you drill a hole towards the base of your stock at the end of flower, it stresses it out and puts your plants into overdrive on trichome production. It's a last stitch effort at survival.

When you drill the holes, shove skewers or a bunch of toothpicks in the holes. When you do this, it slowly stops water uptake to the leaves and buds. It's a pre-dry/curing hack.
