So I’ve heard a lot of different curing methods, and I want to know what works for y’all? After experimenting with different humidity levels I’ve come to get the best results with a lower Rh. And I also have a few friends that have experienced the same, so I want to know what are your desired humidity level in your dry room. I’ve even heard of humidity levels being around 15% and coming out amazing so want to hear others opinions and views of your ideal dry room and the all around end result you’re looking for as far as quality

Chlorophyll’s half life is 2 days, so at 2 days it would be 50%, 4 days 25%, 6 days 12.5%, 8 days 6%.

Hmm okay I think I originally started drying around the 45-55% for one grow and it was by far the best cure I’ve ever experienced so far, I just recently tried drying with a humidity of around 55-62% and it took a lot longer to dry and the quality wasn’t as impressive as the previous humidity I had drying in the grow tent. So when I heard “it should be around 15%” I def thought I should get more options before dropping that low

I shoot for 14 days of pure drying goodness. 60-65 degrees and 60% rh. 14 days has proven to do quite well smell and taste. Always ensure you're pulling when they're fully ready and you should be good.

I have right around 15% rh usually. It is not good for drying buds. Three days and they’ll be over dry.

I shoot for 14 days of pure drying goodness. 60-65 degrees and 60% rh. 14 days has proven to do quite well smell and taste. Always ensure you're pulling when they're fully ready and you should be good.

How many fans do you usually have running ?

In my big drying room I use (2) 4 " ac infinity inline fans coupled with 2 mini splits. At home I just exhaust the area using an inline fan.

No it’s the % of chlorophyll left, the thing your trying to reduce for a better cure

With 55%-60% humidity and airflow set to 2 on an AC Infinity fan, I can usually put it in containers on day 6 or 7 and end up with somewhere around 60-65% bud humidity that doesn't need much burping.

Long dries are no different than a shorter dry after curing because the dry and the cure are basically the same thing. So I would rather stop the hanging dry phase a little early than too late. If you stop the dry too late, the extended cure doesn't happen.

I'm moving away from curing and burping jars. Still shooting for as close to 60/60 drying temp/humidity as i can but no longer jarring up +60% buds. 58% then into the jars.
