hmmm i dnt kno let me check with the local crackhead...............So is this:
Sorry Aesop Im just trying to get a couple pros opinion on readiness. And theres alot of experienced peeps in here!
Smarts is this crack ready for a pot?
Technique depends on what you are cloning for soil vs hydro. Check out Al B's rockwool cloning technique for hydro.Ah I forgot to mention my buddy just hooked me up with some White widow seeds. 7 seeds for free all of which look quite good. I wanna start learning to clone but the growfaq in all honesty didn't quite help me enough.
I like rapid rooter plugs but jiffy pellets work too just make sure they are not too wet if you use jiffy pellets. After roots show transplant them to soil.Im going to be cloning in soil actually.
Well you can take the cutting from lots of places. The only real requirement is the cutting include a growth tip. The grow faq has good pictures, so does Al's cloning thread. Sometimes I top plants going into flower and then root the top cutting. My biggest question is where do I take the cutting from and how exactly do I cut it?
Good points, larger clones tend to root more reliably tooHey snyder, I have cloned stems all the way down the cutting to the point they were taken from the stalk, As long as U cut directly above the last node u should have no problems....
Tops are the best, Direct descendants of the parent plant u take the cuttings from. In my experience they grow root structure the fastest and are the easiest to re-veg and keep recutting and cloning. But mostly used in sog growing cuz after all top clones flower nothing but monster colas time after time.
U can do this during all phases of flower considering u take the cuttings from the lower Stems which havent matured yet (lower stem shoots).
Bro learn how to clone and quit wasting ur time on seedlings...It only makes the most sense.
Lol Thanks NG.. Actually i was only trying to better explain ur points i guess...But i really couldnt have said it better myself!Good points, larger clones tend to root more reliably too
